We stayed here for one night in October 2011. We found this wonderful place on the internet. David and Rosemary the hosts were very welcoming on the phone and even more so in the flesh, offering us tea and (home-made) cake on arrival and giving us plenty of information about the area! Our room was huge, and the en-suite bathroom,...

We had a very spacious twin room with large en-suite, which would put many 4* hotels to shame, and unrestricted views over the magnificent...

I have stayed in many B&Bs and can't recommend this one enough. The home is beautiful and very comfortably appointed down to the last detail, including heating pads for the mattress should the weather be "English". You couldn't get a better breakfast and for anyone who loves gardens the four acre garden is a delight to explore and a balm...

A wonderful experience; super location, exceptionally beautiful gardens to view the deer, hear the toot of the steam train and admire the acres of stunning shrubs and plants. Rosemary and David's welcome and friendliness make you feel part of the family - and at home from home.
