Stayed here for one night for my husband's birthday, lovely big room & very clean. Food in restaurant was excellent with smaller portions available on most dishes. Lovely country pub with loads of character. highly recommended

We went to the Greyhound for a Wedding Anniversary Meal. The food was very good and the staff were very attentive. My wife did find the menu a little restrictive as she has a number of Allergy problems but unfortunately we only saw the notice from the management about allergies when paying at the bar after the meal. we will...

Nice Country Inn, near to where we needed to visit the following day. Lovely welcoming bar area with log burner, candles glowing etc..... Room was nice, a little dated - even for a country Inn, bathroom tiny. Lacking any wow factor or attention to detail but comfortable enough for a 1 or 2 night stay. Ate in the restaurant, food...

The setting wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the food historic, the staff friendly but not intrusive, loads of character and great value. Minor complaint is the poor wifi signal which could be easily rectified but otherwise I couldn't recommend this Inn more highly.

I've been to this pub/restaurant a number of times and I highly recommend eating there. The food is absolutely fantastic. I recommend the duck most definitely! I have yet to find anywhere else which serves duck like them! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended

My family went here after a recommendation. However, we were disappointed with the food and the sulky dishonest service from the two female waiting staff. Just don't seem to be able to get honest, tasty, fresh country fare any where any more. The food was uninspired and the pub seemed tired. Perhaps it was..being Autumn.

We stayed at the Greyhound inn for 2 nights when we were visiting the Taunton region and although a bit out of the way, well done Garmin for finding, it was really a lovely place! The rooms are spacious and comfortable & the quality of Breakfasts & evening meals are very good . On entering the pub ‘the old-world charm’...

We have just returned from a perfect stay at the Greyhound Inn. This was the first time in thirty years that I had been to the Inn, that was as a delivery driver! We were looking for a place to stay for a couple of days around the Taunton area and remembered this charming old Inn. A lovely welcome on...

Only stayed for one night - room 1 was a very good size, nice and bright with two windows at either end of the room. It is so nice to find a room with lots of natural light as so often hotel rooms are dim. Pleasantly decorated and furnished in keeping with the rest of the pub. Everything you need...

Needing to break the journey to Lelant, Cornwall, we hit upon the Greyhound Inn and are very glad that we did. This is a delightful, unpretentious country pub that offers excellent food, drink, and overnight accommodation. The bar was welcoming, with a good selection of beers and wines. There was a small but varied menu that should cater for most...

“Rooms 1 & 2 are easily accessible and rooms 3 & 4 have their resident ghosts! Especially Room 2 is quite spacious and well-proportioned although is a twin bed. There is a staircase to get to the rooms which are located above the bar and dining area - so may have an accessibility issue. Better to check with the landlord incase of accessibility requirements.”
