When we visited Taunton last year, we found this quaint and charming very old Farm House to stay. Both my husband and I fell in love with the place, and when we met the owners of it, were treated like royalty. We were welcomed warmly by Lin who spoiled us with a super full English breakfast every morning. My husband...

I booked the b & b for a one night stay as my husband & myself had bought tickets for ourselves and two friends to see Status Quo at Vivary Park. We arrived at Canonsgrove Farm to a very warm & cheerful welcome by Lynn who showed us to our rooms explaining on the way certain things we needed to...

Wow!! What a little beauty,it might be near to the motorway but the traffic noise is far outweighed by the hospitality,Colin and Lin are perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble ( just ask and they will try to accommodate) the farm house is decorated in keeping with its period so don't go expecting modern and minimal,go for cosy...

Stayed here for a trip to the heart of Somerset. The welcome was very warm to this traditional west country farm. Its just a few miles from central taunton and provided a lovely accommodation. We had a large family room (double bed and 2 singles). Both the room and attached bathroom we clean and tidy. The breakfast was generous and...

We stayed here for 2 nights, with our two sons age 10 and 15. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean and tidy. Colin and Lin were very friendly, and we loved seeing the newborn calves. Breakfasts were delicious too. The farm was split in two by the M5 in the 1970s, and you can hear the traffic...

We stayed friday and saturday night b&b, my wife having booked by phone earlier. It is best to go in via the main road and not staplehay lane. We were in the quantock room which had a double and single bed and plenty of room for clothes. The only reason we did not give 5 stars was the bathroom is...

I stayed at Canonsgrove over a 6 week period from February to march due to placement at the hospital. I was made to feel so welcome straight away and Colin and lin were more than happy to negotiate prices for myself due to my long stay. I stayed in both rooms, both very spacious, warm and homely. I also stayed...

It is a working farm at the bottom of a country lane but it's only a 10 minute drive from the centre of Taunton. It's not far from the M5 turn off which is handy although you can always hear the traffic in the distance. The room was very spacious, clean and warm (Gales of 2014!) and had excellent WiFi...

Just returned home from a lovely weekend spent at Canonsgrove farm for a birthday party in Trull village. Staying at Canonsgrove worked perfectly for quiet access to the village (Walking or Driving). The farm has masses of character, it's clean and everything you need for a relaxing weekend. The best bit is the welcome and Chat with Lyn and Colin...

When I initially phoned to book 2 rooms at Canonsgrove Farm, I was offered a cheap alternative, which was which very appreciated. When we arrived we were offered a very warm welcome and were shown around. The rooms were clean and comfortable in a beautiful setting. The bathroom was pristine and huge with a large shower and separate bath. After...
