We booked one night on our way to Scotland, and arrived after a long trip to find that the requested courtyard room had been crossed out in the book and we had been put in an upstairs - narrow steep stairs - room. The reason was that the people who stayed in the room we wanted decided to stay another...

Payed £75 for single occupancy of a double room and found it to be excellent value. Rooms are large and modern with excellent on suite facilities. Ironing board and Iron in room always a good idea sadly missing in many establishments. Evening meal in the bar was huge. Belly pork and Yorkshire pudding, a strange combination to people outside of...

Went to watch Leeds play Reading and stayed at this lovely hotel, room was comfy and spotlessly clean, we ate in the bar lounge Friday and Saturday night, where the food and wine were of high standard and great hospitality

A group of people from different parts of the country stayed here as we were going to a classic car meet locally. The staff were friendly and even printed out the route to the classic car meet for those who didn't have Sat Nav. The food was excellent The room was very good

Sound rooms and the bar/ restaurant was fine. I arrived on pie night and the food was great, lots of choice and good quality. The place felt very much like a locals pub and there fore how I and others were dealt with was quite different to how the locals were dealt with.

We had two rooms here recently whilst on business. In room 7, the wifi didn't work and the tv cable was broken. In room 4, the wifi was intermittent and the tv remote was incompatible with the tv. Another guest asked us to fix his tv while we were walking past his room. I would have let all this go...

6 of us went here last week to celebrate birthdays. Very good menu, plenty of choices, the food was delicious. It worked out about £30 a head but that included 3 bottles of wine and per dinner drinks so we all thought it very reasonable. It was quite noisy our table was just in front of the bar where people...

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst on business. Was unsure of staying here after reading previous "poor reviews" but decided to try it anyway and all I can say is don't listen to the poor reviews this place is excellent. The hotel itself is well presented both inside and out and very clean. It has ample parking, is within walking...
