We stayed at Danecourt Lodge for a week in July and what a find it was. It is situated in a quiet location, five minutes walk from beautiful Poole Park and a twenty minute walk to the centre of Poole and the quay / harbour. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Danecourt Lodge is a beautiful...

An excellent hostess- made us feel very comfortable, nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic surroundings, spotlessly clean, beautiful garden. Close to all amenities and a lovely park near by to relax or for those wishing to continue their fitness whilst on a break. Breakfast was fantastic! We recommend The Cow for dinner nearby, Jazz Cafe for lunch by the sea...

This was our second visit to Danecourt Lodge and once again we were made to feel very welcome and the standards maintained by Pat and Ron are exceptionally high. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, which is a number one priority when suffering from a bad back. The delicious breakfast kept us going until early evening....

We spent three nights at Danecourt Lodge and during this time we were made to feel welcome. Pat and Ron were the perfect hosts making sure our stay was both comfortable and relaxing. The room was spotlessly clean and well equipped and looked out over a well maintained garden. The extensive breakfast menu was a gastronomical delight and set us...

My wife and I stayed at the danecourt and were looked after like we expected to be in a 5* hotel. Pat does all she can to make your stay as comfy as she can. There was nothing to complain about at all. apart from the weather and no one is to blame for that. Having the Jacuzi bath in...

My sisters and I 'got away from everyone' and enjoyed 3 nights at Danecourt Lodge. The place is spotless and bedding and towels etc top quality. The breakfast lived up to its reviews and more. The breakfast room looked out onto the lovely garden. The weather was a little unkind to us but did not stop us getting out and about,...

Our sister lives in Poole but can't accommodate us anymore, I found 'Danecourt Lodge' on line and what a find!! Pat offered us two rooms - we opted for the front. In both the bedroom and en-suite bathroom the facilities were superb. High quality towels and a good assortment of gels, shampoos, etc., were found in the bathroom. In the...

We have just returned from two nights spent with B&B hosts Pat and Ron in Danecourt Lodge while attending a family christening. It was our second visit, although spaced apart many years and the standard, homeliness and hospitality were just as we had expected from our first visit - excellent. We spent two very comfortable nights in an immmaculate, beautifully...

“Both rooms we stayed in were of a similar size and both quiet. One had a more compact shower room and the other had a large bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and a separate shower cubicle - a real winner for me.”
