In less then a minute you're at Poole Quay, so the location is great. The room was comfortable, and good value. I checked out price on Expedia and rang up and was quoted a price £10 cheaper! Great breakfast, but also went to the pub in the evening and had fantastic fish and chips.

Our friends have stayed here before but this was our first time. Great hotel with lots of character, friendly staff in a perfect location. We stayed in room 6, and our friends in room 2. Rooms were had everything in them that we needed. Breakfast was served in the old part of the building, big room with lovely exposed brick,...

I know it's an old building but that's no excuse for letting standards slip so low. The rooms are quite a reasonable size and if you prefer super soft Beds then you will like these. But the bathrooms are appalling. Toilet seat stained yellow. I mean come on, how much does it cost to replace a white plastic toilet seat...

Lovely old coaching inn just behind the historic Poole quayside, part of the oldenglishinns.co.uk group of medium sized hotel's, a really nice place to stay with very good staff, also a complimentary full breakfast menu (buffet&full English) this was the 3rd time here, mainly due to great value &...

We stayed at The Antelope a couple of years ago and loved it. This trip couldn't have been more different. The boiler had broken down in early December so there was no central heating but electric heaters were provided in all rooms. Unfortunately these kept cutting out after a few minutes. We were eventually told that the heaters were supposed...

Very let down - we normally go to The Antelope and I have spread the word on how good the Christmas meal is - after this year, never again. We booked an paid our deposit for 11 people, handed in our menu choices - all well before the time requested. When we arrived it seems they had forgotten us -...

Just spent a second Christmas at the Antelope and have booked to go back next year. Had a great time food very good, room comfortable but a little bit small and frosted windows felt a bit claustrophobic. I know this can't be helped as it's an old building. Unfortunately the heating had broken, but the alternative would have been to...

Arrived Wed 14th December. The room small with poor lighting (my husband is partially sighted) but we put the temperature down to the fact we had been travelling for 3 hours. (No indication by staff to alert us that there was a problem. Spent a very restless night (cold, couldn't sleep!) Went down for breakfast next morning and enquired why...

Ate here again on Friday night the 9th of December, we all had very good food as always, the staff were rather slow , but were under pressure because of Christmas partys, so not their fault, we will return

Attended a family wedding and stayed overnight. The breakfast was very disappointing, dirty glasses and bowls, long wait for the breakfast to come out, food was cold, the beans had been on the plate so long they had left a tide mark. and the hash browns came out when I had finished eating the rest of the food. I had...
