Made the most of half term deal. Tired decor but welcoming hotel. Loved using pool especially at the Haven as well. Didn't plan to use kids club but how wrong could we be?! The Funsters staff were amazing and worked tirelessly day and night. It was a job to tear the children away. They left sad to say goodbye but...

I saw this hotel advertised online on was impressed by the photos and location near the sea. We arrived at the hotel and was shocked to see how shabby the building was. Nothing like this was shown in the online photos! My husband and I arrived and were greeted by a polite and smiley receptionist. As we walked to our...

A great stay with two kids (9/11) they both loved the kids club (staff were briliant) and we all enjoyed the indoor pool. Really don't have a bad word to say for a family break, the hotel was reasonably busy but staff still had plenty of time to deal with us and our requests. Only negative comment would be it...

We booked in for afternoon tea and what a delight. Little bottles of Prosseco and cups of coffee offered and good little cakes/ scones and sandwiches all on offer. Will have to do it again when weather is warmer as it was a freezing cold day.

We stayed for one night recently. Never been to the hotel before but heard a lot of nice stuff. Booked a sea room with balcony. We got room 316 which was on the 3rd floor (no lift) and right at the end. Unfortunately a very large block of flats has been built to the right beyond the sandbanks build line...

Using a Groupon voucher we arranged afternoon tea. Not expecting much for the price but was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent and the food was presented well. The only fault unfortunately was the sandwiches you could tell had been pre maid and had sat out and dried up a little. Everything else was ok.

I've been to the hotel before with some friends for a girls trip, and enjoyed it then, so it was a lovely surprise to have been bought a few days away as a thank you treat for my husband and I from our son and daughter-in-law. Our room wasn't the biggest, but nicely decorated, and very clean and tidy, we...

A good stay - negative points - the Wi fi is poor , keeps dropping out and you have to wade through facebook to get on. You cannot get a jug of water on the table at dinner. The bedroom door locks malfunctioned.

I had often seen the Sandbanks Hotel but because it was quite expensive I hadn't stayed before. The staff were very welcoming, but this 4* hotel desperately needs a significant refurbishment. The interior takes you back to the days of Hi-di-hi with seriously dated carpets and decor and still has tiles on the ceiling. Lifts not working, shower really difficult...
