Really enjoyed our stay at College Farm. Easy to find and well located for exploring Suffolk. Rosie and Ian were fabulous hosts, and the breakfast was second to none (best sausages I have tasted, and I'm a bit of an expert on sausages!). We stayed in the stables which was very roomy and comfortable. Rosie and Ian are very experienced...

Had a wonderful short break stay, at College Farm Hintlesham. This Tudor Farmhouse, is a real gem , just beautiful! Full of character, and lovely , peaceful surroundings Rooms are large, King-size bed and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is a delight, with locally sourced produce. Hintlesham is a good base, as you can get to most places within half...

Stayed here again this year. Everything I wrote about last year is still true. This is a very good place to stay for exploring Suffolk and North Essex. Rosemary and Ian are very welcoming, tea is provided when you arrive, decaf tea was bought for me, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs no problem, mineral water in a decanter in the...

We stayed at College Farm for a week, we had a super room in the lovely old farmhouse, with a huge bed, a lovely bathroom en suite and views across the countryside. The room was spotlessly clean at all times, with changes of linen and towels during our stay. Our friends stayed in the Stable room which was equally as...

I have been staying at College Farm B&B whilst working in the area. I have found it to be a thoroughly wonderful place to be based, quiet and out of the way on a peaceful country lane, beautiful views as soon as the curtains are opened. Warm and friendly people, both owners and other guests. A big personal thank you...

Stayed here 3 nights exploring Suffolk and the nearer parts of Essex. Its a very nice place to stay in a very quiet location, well away from traffic noise. The building itself is quite historic, so the ceilings and door heights can be quite out of the level and the latter might pose some difficulties for tall people. My room...

Very old Tudor farm house with lovely garden and surrounding fields where we walked in the evening. The owners son was covering during our stay. He cooked super breakfasts and on our third and last morning we had smoked Haddock & scrambled eggs super! and if Phil Bryce was about at the same time as us he supplied a pot...

Have just spent two weeks touring in England. We stayed in several Bed & Breakfast and hotels but this was our favourite. College Farm is very quaint and characterful. Our bedroom was totally unique. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and Hintlesham is a great centre to use as a base to explore Suffolk. Our hosts made us extremely welcome and...

The interior of the house could be a bit off-putting at first with second-hand looking furniture and bedrooms inserted into what was originally a hall-house (my room had a sliding door!) but you get this picture when you look on their web site so don't be put off. The bedroom was warm, big enough for a few days' stay (I...

I stayed at College Farm about 6 years' ago on my first visit to Suffolk. I remember coming out of the house and being surrounded by golden cornfields. I went back recently with a friend for a weekend break and it was as attractive as before even though the floors made us a little seasick. The farm house is a...
