Tired and dated guest house, good location, friendly staff. Checked out after 3 nights because of the noise (TVs on full volume, shouting banging on doors etc) manager was apologetic but you need to sleep when you've got work in the morning, no refund offered won't return. Not worth what we paid!

I was in Ipswich on business. The hotel ticked all the boxes what I wanted. It was clean and everybody there was friendly and the service I got was just right. The only thing I did not like was breakfast, I thought the breakfast room closed to early in the morning and perhaps they should add an extra hour to the...

Front bedroom with view of station, but noise not disturbing due to double glazing. Two single beds pushed together to make a double, would have been ok but one was firm and one was squishy. Sheets clean and fresh. Small tube style TV in room, buzzed incessantly and couldn't watch it. Ensuite was small plastic cubicle like you get on...

I had a 3 night stay here by necessity &,although not exactly salubrious, I felt welcomed & the couple running the B&B were charming & helpful. Ok.there were no signs of opulence but the bed was large, clean & comfortable. The shower may have been lacking power but the water was hot. ( I had stayed in a rather upmarket B&B...

i think some of the reviews are unfair, i personally found my stay at this hotel, a good stay, the noise from train station opposite, is not something the hotel can change, i stayed in a standard single room, it was cosy, not cramped, i was ok with noisy trains, once the windows and shutters are shut, its not that...

We booked two double rooms for one night, when they gave us the key said we had been upgraded. The first room had someone else in it so they had to go to the top of the house no heating and tv did not work, the other room ensuite the door didn't even shut. The best bit the beds were...

Five stars for friendly welcome, great breakfast cooked to order, clean and functional room, very reasonable price free fast wifi and right next to station and ten minutes walk to centre with bus stop outside front door if lethargic! (bus every 5-10 minutes) The single ensuite room I had was small with a tiny bathroom, but well presented and even...

We stayed here Saturday as a group of 6 off to a wedding. It cost us £59 for an ensuite bathroom. As soon as I walked in I though oh my god, what is this? Owner was pleasant whilst giving us our keys. Basic room. Twin beds pushed together. Friends room stank of BO really badly and had flies on...

As one of the cheapest hotels around, I wasn't expecting much, however, I was expecting a lot more than what it had to offer; I have stayed here two times due to the price and my partner liking it. Whilst I felt safe due to the door into the establishment locking and the only way into it is by key,...
