We have just spent an amazing weekend staying at the Clontarf. It is positioned by the West Shore, overlooks the Great Orme. A lovely hotel for a nice relaxing weekend in Llandudno. The patrons of the hotel Joni and Mark can’t do enough for you, the rooms are immaculate, the

A lovely b&b with friendly hosts and a good breakfast choice. Mine was ready for me bang on 8.30am which I really appreciated as I had to leave at 9am. Lovely to see an “honesty bar” which I didn’t make use of but looked well stocked. Very well positioned with beautiful views

Following on from other reviews we made a last minute descion to visit Llandudno. Yet again we chose a little gem tucked away near the West shore. Stayed in room 9 on the top floor with views of the Great Orme, plenty of room with the added bonus of a settee and a massive

Have stayed in Llandudno lots of times but this is by far the best place we've had. Owners were friendly and helpful, room was clean (sofa was a definite plus) and breakfast excellent - the best scramble eggs I've had in years. Only issue might be to be aware it is on the west

Yes there is parking at the hotel, there may not be room for all guests if the guest house is full, so an early arrival is advisable if you need to park off road. We were late and parked on the quiet road alongside, without any problem. As to the question about dogs in the rooms, it would be best to ask the owners. Certainly there was no sign of any dogs having been in the room that we stayed in. Hope this helps.j

Hello this is the hotel. One dog is permitted to stay in our first floor rooms, by prior arrangement. Dogs are not permitted to sleep on the beds, naturally, but are allowed in the room. They must be kept on the lead in the hotel public areas and grounds. They are not permitted in the dining room. We do not allow to be dogs to be left at any time unattended in the rooms, with the exception of when guests are taking breakfast, when we expect guests to use their discretion as to whether their own dogs will be happy to be left in the room quietly. We also have a resident cat which dogs must be respectful towards. I hope this clears up our rules. We are dog lovers and do make dogs very welcome however.
