We were here for the New Year weekend, so 3 nights 4 days. Our room was only just acceptable, didn't really want the hand wash basin in the bedroom. The shower cubicle needed a lot of attention although it gave us lots of hot water, eventually........the toilet was a lovely shade of avocado. ALL in need of updating., although our...

Not a good hotel, food terrible, rooms variable, no matress cover on our bed.(.thin sheet straight over matress),staff pleasant. The only really good thing was the pool.We went for the turkey and tinsell weekend (10 of us)and they refused to put tables together, although there was plenty of room.

My husband and I stayed at the Chatsworth as part of a turkey and tinsel 4-day break with Gibbons Coaches. On our arrival, we were asked to wait as the staff were already booking in another coach. We were then herded into the lounge and offered tea (no coffee) and a mince pie. After such a long journey, we just...

I broke my own rule by not reading TA reviews before booking but this was because I booked through a travel company so was rather relying on their standards. On reading recent reviews I was full of trepidation. All proved wrong, from pre booking enquiries (promptly answered) to arrival and booking in all was good. I have a couple of...

Room ok but not impressed with having to share a table in the dining room. Breakfast ok ,but evening meal spoilt by overcooked vegetables, beautifull view of the sea if you get a room at the front of the Hotel.

Stayed in room 160 Woke up by being bitten by bed bugs. Collected 6 in a glass ( there were more)and took them to reception, were moved to another room, even after speaking to the manager and expressing my disgust. He offered no apology. And stated, it happens in hotels and I should google it... He was quite rude and...

The hotel is located opposite the promenade, overlooking the sea. We had a family room which was very spacious, clean, warm and comfortable and we had a sea view. The ensuite shower room was small and in need of refurbishment, but was adequate. Our meals were always served hot and were plentiful. Not a lot of choice but as they...
