Just stayed at the Ambassador Hotel for 2 nights on a wowcher deal. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Deal included a 2 night stay with breakfast which was very good and 1 afternoon cream tea/coffee, scones and bucks fizz which was also very good. We were in a side, bay windowed room which had a view of the little Orme....

The Hotel was OK. Our room was quite cosy and warm. The bathroom clean and neat. We didn't spend much time in the room as the weather was quite pleasant so we were mainly sightseeing. I wasn't impressed with the breakfast - the dining area was absolutely packed, staff rushed off their feet, many non-re-set tables, so only by a...

We booked to stay in this hotel for my 22nd birthday. We stayed in the Gronwen Room on the top floor. The room was clean and tidy. However, the most irritating thing was the lift. Everytime it stops the motor makes a loud screeching noise so expect to be awake early hours. The lift does stop at 11.30pm but the...

Have stayed at this Hotel on a few occasions . The staff are very helpful and accommodating . My father is virtually blind and the room he was allocated in the ground floor was ideal for him . The rooms are slightly dated but you don't live in them just sleep in them . The bar prices are reasonable and...

We went for a drink as it stated on the window "none residents welcome" and it was raining so we wanted shelter. We went in with our 3 month daughter who needed feeding. We fed her whilst having a drink, when we finished my partner went to the bar to ask where baby changing is, to which he had the...

A good value hotel stay. The location is excellent being on the sea front but a short walk from the town centre. I'd booked a parking space in the hotel car park but parking was available at a reasonable cost on the street. But be warned that the hotel car park is a very tight space unless you have a...

I stayed at the Ambassador for a week at Easter with my mum, the second year in a row. Loved it. Everything was top notch from the location, the cleanliness, the food and especially the veranda to while away some time looking out over the sea. All the staff here are super friendly, caring and professional...deserving a special mention are...

The hotel was very nice. The staff where very willing and polite. Nothing was to much trouble for them. Our room was lovely. We had a spa room. It had everything we wanted. The restaurant was a little un organised with the seating. It didn't bother us, but a couple of people were complaining. Couldn't fault the food. We had...

Sadly like many British hotels this one did not make the most of it's prime location. On the seafront , 2 mins walk from shops and pier , close to the Orme. Price wise it wasn't expensive but money needs spending on a complete refurb which would pay for itself when many rooms could be sold with sea views.Luckily we...
