Just had a great (and cheap) stay here this weekend. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The evening meal was a choice of three starters, mains and starters and breakfast was choices of cereal, juices and full cooked breakfast. The rooms were admittedly a little dated but they were clean and tidy with fresh towels...

From check in to check out the service was very good. All the staff were very friendly and attentive whether in the bar, dining room or reception. Our bedrooms were large and well equipped with nice large bathrooms (with bath and shower) and nice toiletries.. Plenty of tea, coffee in the room, flat screen TV and chairs etc. Although a...

We stayed here for three nights 27th December 2016. The room was old but warm, adequate. Breakfast came with a good choice. Evening meal. Wow. Great choice again. We,my wife and I would certainly return. If you expect the Hilton hotel then pay their prices. Budget break at its best. Oh and entertainment if you want. Singer and comic. Varies...

Having booked a Christmas Break with family (3 rooms) we were looking for a upbeat break. Wrong! Dated rooms, luke warm shower and bath water. Food that was at best, below average. No imagination poor choice of veg. Effort to go for meals. No water on table, not a mince pie offered. The only reason to use this hotel is...

I booked for six of us. My husband and I had the Baldwin Suite, for which we were charged £144 per night. The television did not work. The mattress had springs poking up. The spa bath did not work. The chef was on holiday consequently the food, especially the vegetables were poor. We managed to secure a partial refund for...

First impressions were good though when we checked into our room we were a little disappointed as it is in need of renovation, but was adequate and clean, and the price was very reasonable. Bed breakfast and evening meals were included the food was nothing special but again was fine for our stay. Staff could not have been more helpful...

This will be straight to the point, only good thing was the staff being polite. Everything else you can think of is really poor. If your 50 or under do not go. Full of elderly so no entertainment or anything. And even the guests there seemed to complain around me. Slept in a child's bed all week. Water running down...
