Just had a weeks stay at The grand Hotel. We booked 2 rooms. One for my parents and one for myself. It was a bit of a getaway break due to family Illness. Both rooms were spotless and looked as if they had just been decorated. They were large rooms and the sea views were incredible. The hotel staff were...

After 30 years of travel and 100s of trips, I have now sampled a new low .. the (not-so) Grand Hotel. For £100 per night, (double the price of almost anything else in Llandudno), one does not get any drinking water (there is a single water dispenser available 7:30am to 9:00am on the ground floor, to service 200+ rooms), one...

Love it here, squeaky floor boards, old fashioned furniture, wonderful views. What's not to like. It of course needs a refurb, but then it would loose its charm. There is a odd mixture of sixties lighting and old leather furniture. We had room 308 which has its own balcony overlooking the sea. Pity about the rain! There is no parking...

I stayed here for 3 nights as part of a package. The County Single room looked out on the Orme and Happy Valley. I discovered some sunglasses on ny final morning, next to a bedside cabinet, indicating the room had not been properly cleaned before or during my stay. I've left comments with the hotel so it would be unkind...

It's about 6 years since I last stayed here and the place itself hasn't changed and the views are lovely ( if you pay extra for a sea view) the entertainment was very good although it was the same people or one of them each night we were there and they were good. We like a game of bingo and...

A huge 1901 era hotel with all the difficulties suffered by an hotel of that era. It has seen better days but in its favour it was clean and comfortable. Our expectations were quite low and we did not suffer any undue disapointment when given a fifth floor (ex staff attic) room facing away from the sea... The full English...

What a scruffy dump! Flaking paintwork, dirty windows, scruffy carpets. Externally pier side is the scruffiest place in Llandudno I'm sure. This hotel could be the jewel on the water's edge. Llandudno is beautifully clean and this hotel just brings the tone down. Does not one care? How can they justify their prices. Even the windows are so dirty it's difficult...
