Sad to say that the Grand is dated and needs a good refurbishment. The woodchiped walls, the 60s wardrobes, the creaking floorboards just feel outmoded. There was only enough Street parking for up to 8 cars and that is shared with the visitors to the pier.

Very disappointing... The room was too small to accommodate my wives wheelchair...The general appearance and decor was shabby. The guests restaurant was more like a works canteen with no slip cloths on the tables. The food was disappointing, especially the DEEP FRIED sausages which were like leather. The bathroom had black mold on the ceiling and the taps on the...

Having expressed my concerns about the state of the Grand Metropole, Blackpoool, we were delighted on our arrival for Easter at the Grand Hotel, Llandudno to see that a lot of decorating has been done inside the Grand and workmen were still working on decorating the exterior throughout our 8 day stay. The Grand Llandudno is now well worth visiting....

Went for a light lunch. Sandwiches and a cream tea. It sounded lovely, Thick cream and jam. The reality was squirty cream which went to nothing after a few mins. We did complain about this but was told they no longer did anything other than the squirty cream. We should have been told this when we ordered so we could...

We have visited here during our stay in Llandudno. We had coffee at pier entrance and the place is a disgrace. Small flies everywhere, EVEN IN MY MILK. The public areas: toilets, reception and ballroom not very clean. Worn settees, worn carpets, dirty skirting boards. This could be a brilliant place if it had a revamp, a little goldmine. Sadly,...

If you where to get a room with a sea view this would be good however that is all I can say is good about the hotel. Arriving at lunch time the grubby looking snack bar beside the bar was chosen. An offer for fish and chips was available however both were frozen and tasteless. The facilities in the hotel...
