The Risboro Hotel is well situated and accessible to all attractions. It is also a short walk to the seafront. I stayed there as part of a David Urquhart Tour. The staff were fantastic- nothing was too much bother and queries were dealt with immediately. The service was excellent and the food was always piping hot and more than adequate....

Enjoyed a nice break at the Risboro Hotel. Beds very clean and comfortable. Food was excellent. The staff were fantastic and could not do enough for the guests. Our luggage was taken to our rooms and collected when we left. Its the only hotel I have stayed at where all the staff have come out to wave us off. The...

We were on a coach break with Leisuretime, wouldn't book this hotel myself. Bedroom was unclean and the beds very uncomfortable. The staff were all very friendly and for the price we got what we paid for, but there is no reason why there was so much dirt in the bedrooms. Saturday night was a bonus excellent entertainment, although I...

Breakfast was buffet style and once again of excellent quality and piping hot, waiting staff served tea and coffee. Our meals all week were of...

Usual standard of hotel used by coaches in need of TLC not 100% clean. Staff very helpful and good. Food acceptable. Pool out of order boiler not working. Entertainment good. Would not personally use this hotel out of choice but o.k. for our cheap coach trip.

Our second visit, not the most modern, stylish hotel but the atmosphere, staff make it a great weekend. Private car park, always a bonus. Great check in, so friendly. Room comfortable, clean, bit dated, have no problem with that. Food good, always hot, plenty of choice. Entertainment every night, Crystal Bawls brilliant, you are warned if easily offended, there is...

Poorly equipped room, well past its best, A double bed and a single but only one bedside table and lamp. Dark green bathroom straight out of the 50?60's, cracked hand basin and no shower. Food was acceptable and resteraunt service was good. Entertainment started late and would have been quite good if you could stand the volume. The last night...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Risboro is perfectly placed for exploring the beauties and historic treasures of North Wales. Anglesey, Snowdonia, and the scenic Conwy and Denbigh coasts surround the Victorian resort of Llandudno which stands on the low isthmus that joins the Limestone rock of The Great Orm to the mainland. The Gardens of Bodnant and the Castles of Conwy, Penrhyn, Canaerfon and Beaumaris are all close by as are the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park and the Great Little Trains of Wales Llandudno boasts two beaches—the North shore with its elegant crescent of hotels and Victorian pier, and the wilder west shore, famous for inspiring Lewis Carroll to write Alice in Wonderland, with its sand dunes and fabulous views towards the mountains, the Menai Straits and the medieval walled town of Conwy. The Risboro sits between the two beaches at the foot of the Orm—a stone’s throw from the tram station for the summit of the Orm and at the western end of the vibrant town centre. with its wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants. Whatever your age there is a great holiday awaiting you here. ... more   less
