We stayed last weekend for two nights with friends, we both had dogs and were made to feel very welcome. Both rooms were lovely with comfy beds and we had sea views, well worth the little extra. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice and served up hot by a very pleasant lady, nothing was too much trouble. We would...

So, you come home on vacation looking forward to meeting friends in your favourite place, The Shelbourne. The main bar is closed for a 'private function' so we move to the Lord Mayors lounge with lots of staff and NO service! We had a dinner reservation but the service was so slow we didn't have time to finish our drinks...

Stayed at the Shelbourne for the second time to attend a concert at Theatre Cymru . The Shelbourne is a traditional Hotel that was probably once a guest house with shared bathrooms. We had a reasonably friendly welcome and our room was well stocked with tea, coffee etc and a side view of the sea. Rooms are small but adequate....

Booked a single room for just 1 night as I was visiting my mother in the local hospital. As I was travelling on my own I'd booked this hotel as it advertised dinner and a bar , which I thought would be nicer than eating out alone. I arrived in pouring rain & storm force winds & when I asked...

Stayed in a family room as we were going to a concert in Venue Cymru, which is very close to the hotel. Beds were comfy and clean, although the room itself was very dated. Breakfast was an extra £6.25 which we declined, and having seen the pictures on here, I don't regret it! A few guests had their dogs with...

Booked three rooms here for a family weekend. The owner is not the most cheerful of characters - perhaps we caught them at a bad time. My teenage son did however seem to have defended from another planet from the looks he got (then again he is a bit "alternative" in his fashion sense. For my point of view a...

We stayed here for one night during September. Free parking to the rear which is great. Rooms average, need a bit of TLC but they did the job. Lady on reception at check in didn't really have much to say, we had to ask what time breakfast was etc.... breakfast was nice, except the hash Browns. They were inedible. Breakfast...
