I needed a short break, and the management and staff ensured I had a relaxing, comfortable and very pleasant stay. I have been there about once a year for the past 25 years, and as usual found the staff very friendly and helpful, efficient and professional. The food was excellent, with a wide range of choice and some imaginative dishes...

Another Great Time at The Merrion We spent five lovely days at the Merrion where we have spent many previous ones. As usual we were looked after and treated well by the fantastic helpful staff. As usual Manuela and the Reception staff were friendly and efficient and full of helpful advice. The restaurant produced wonderful food. On menu there is...

This is a comfortable hotel right on the seafront and not far from the pier. Although within easy access to the town, shops and Great Orme it is still quiet. Staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is good restaurant standard

This was our first stay at the Merrion and, apart from reading reviews on this site, we knew next to nothing about the hotel. From the friendly greetings of the reception staff, to the quality of the food, this establishment could not be faulted. The room was exceptionally clean, warm and inviting and housekeeping throughout the hotel was first class....

Another lovely week spent at this family run hotel. Never lets us down. All the staff(apart from one elderly lady on reception ,that should probably be retired) are amazing _ friendly, helpful and same.very caring. The dining room.staff are mainly foreign but very efficient. Food excellent.

Another excellent stay at the the Merrion. It's a comfortable, well kept and clean establishment. But what makes it special are the people who run it, from the wonderful reception staff who are warm and welcoming to everyone who comes through. Right down to the housekeeping and restaurant staff who are always friendly and polite. One of it's best kept...

Found us a room at really short notice after another hotel (the Montcler & Cumberland) made a mess of our booking. Really nice hotel. Brilliant location and sea views. Very clean. Food/ breakfast is superb! Staff really nice and helpful. Off road secure parking around the corner. So glad we found this hotel. Definitely stay again.

Hi sweetdarlinme3 Thank you for your recent review, I am sorry to read that you were less than satisfied with your stay at the Merrion, I would comment that due to the nature of booking last minute with a booking engine, it is not entirely realistic to expect a front sea view room and this is reflected in the price...
