We spent a wonderful weekend at this B&B. The room was comfortable and clean. Melanie and her husband provided a very good breakfast with lots of options. They also provided maps and tips for walking to Beachy Head. We felt very welcome and at ease. We would definitely go and stay with them again and recommend it to friends. It... More

Colin and Melanie were so wonderful and made our stay a memorable one, will definitely be back! They were even dog friendly for our Westie who loved it very much. There was a very wide variety of food for breakfast and we were treated royally

We were treated to a lovely welcome by the kind hosts at this guesthouse. They had excellent knowledge of the local area and can recommend you some great restaurants and lovely walks. The rooms are spacious, spotless and well equipped and we were very impressed by the furnishings. The breakfast options covered everything you could possibly want including gluten free... More

After a long and tiring journey I was warmly welcomed by Melanie who, after showing me my room offered me cake and coffee which I enjoyed in the beautiful lounge. She also told me of various local places of interest I might enjoy as the area was new to me, and lent me some books on the area. The hotel... More

The place is comfortable and clean. The best is the people who are working there who really want you to feel good at their hostal and really care about your needs. I twisted my ankle and they attended me quickly with ice, ibuprofen and all. Great place, honestly.

The Cherry Tree, is a very pleasant, well located Guest House, in a quiet area of Eastbourne, near the beach and Theatres. I stayed for 4 nights in a single room at the top of the house, the room was very comfortable and clean, with an Ensuite Bath. The Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of requirements. Melanie and... More

My daughter and I received a very friendly welcome from Colin and Melanie - we stayed for one night in a beautiful room which had everything we could possibly need. We are vegan and can sometimes find we are not catered for but this was not the case here at all. We had called in advance to check and were... More

Great little B&B just off the seafront in Eastbourne. Very helpful and attentive owner - loads of guidance on trails, best sights and restaurants as well as travel timetable. The breakfast was great - full English as well as other choices. The room was very clean and well furnished, however the only downside are the thin walls (can hear the... More

I stayed here for three nights recently in a single room on the top floor. The Cherry Tree is well located, not on the front but not far behind it, in a quiet residential area. It is very smartly and I would guess recently decorated, and everywhere is very clean and well maintained. The room was on the small side... More
