Nice hotel in a very convienient position close to shops, restaurants, theatres and seafront. Pleasant staff and rooms were large and warm for February with extra heater as optional. car parking can be a problem but voucher provided by hotel for free street parking whilst in residence The breakfast was very simple but was extremely edible and pleasant efficient staff

This hotel is great value for money. Its very close to the theatres and seafront. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything needed for an overnight stay. A tasty breakfast was included in our overnight price plus a free permit to park. All in all excellent value for money.

The Da Vinci was the perfect location for our one night stay. 200 yards from the Devonshire Park theatre and 5 minute walk from the main town and the restaurants. The welcome was courtesy, helpful and friendly. Without prompting I was asked about my parking arrangement and offered a pre paid parking ticket (which was not required due to the...

This hotel is well placed for the sea, theatres and not far from the shops. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. It was one of the best value options available for the weekend I was there and although in need of a bit of a spruce up, was more than adequate.

My wife and I stayed in February 2017 The Da Vinci is a charming hotel newly refurbished with a strong art theme running throughout. Each bedroom is in a different colour scheme featuring prints of famous artists works. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and uses linen tablecloths and napkins. Breakfast was delicious with something for everyone. Only 5 mins walk...

Every year we stay in this hotel for a darts weekend, the rooms are very bright (some may need a little touch up here and there) but they are very comfy and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast is good, served to what you would like. Parking is available outside. A 2 minute walk to the sea front and about...

We booked the day vinci for Saturday night but decided to go on Friday and have two nights away. We phoned the hotel Friday evening to see if they could fit us in and yes they could so off we went. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised and checked in. We booked the executive suite and what a room the...

We stayed for one night in a superior room. The room was in need of some redecoration in places but was clean and very spacious - there were two tub chairs and a coffee table! The bed was comfortable, there was a well stocked refreshment tray and the shower was hot enough. Breakfast was very good and the young woman...

Stayed there after Christmas for 2 nights with my husband and our son. Was pleasantly surprised( for the price we have paid). Rooms are of a good size, breakfast was very tasty and the service was great. We forgot to take our son's cot and we've been given one within few minutes. Thanks for a great hospitality.

We stayed here for 2 nights over Christmas while visiting relatives. The room was very large as was the bed, and all very clean and comfortable. For the price it was good value. We didn't have the full breakfast as it was Christmas but it looked very nice. Scrambled eggs on Boxing day were lovely and fresh. Would definitely stay...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The da Vinci is ideally situated in Howard Square just off the sea front and just around the corner from the Devonshire Theatre, the Congress Theatre, the Winter Gardens, The Birley Centre and Eastbourne's new arts centre. We are a short walk to the town's shops and a lot of excellent restaurants which we are happy to recommend. The da Vinci has 20 en-suite rooms which each feature a well known (and not so well known) artist. The rooms have all been refurbished and redecorated to a very high standard and each of the rooms is unique so that no two rooms are the same. On the ground floor is the hotel art gallery featuring original art work by local professional artists as well as a resident's lounge (with full licensed facilities), two breakfast rooms and a conference room (which you can hire). ... more   less
