The villas are located on our 500 acre property, with over 1km of north facing coastline and private cove access. The villas are an eco design and build, working on passive solar principles - each villa is two bedrooms both with large ensuite bathroom, and generous living and dining space, with large picture windows with ocean views from every room. Free wifi and built in blue tooth speakers. We offer the best of a Kangaroo Island luxury experience, so that you can relax and reconnect and enjoy our highly personalised model of service - ideal for a romantic getaway, or to celebrate a special life event, whether travelling as a couple, or with family. We had a wonderful two-night stay at Oceanview Eco Villas with our kids (8 and 11). There are two villas, each with two bedrooms plus an open plan kitchen, dining and living. The layout of the villa was awesome for a family (but would also work really well for two couples). The view from the villas was stunning and the service and attention to detail was excellent. Our breakfast and dinner was served in the rooms, all delicious locally-sourced produce and drinks. The hosts, Tamsin and Tim, were lovely and super helpful. The orphaned kangaroo mob that hangs around the house was a highlight and the kids didn’t want to leave! The location is great for exploring the Eastern side of KI, which is really quite large. Highly recommend Oceanview Eco Villas!

We had a wonderful two nights and were impressed with the attention to detail.
The owners/hosts, Tamsin and Tim spent, two years planning and designing the two Eco-friendly cottages. The carpets and decking were manufactured from reclaimed materials only add to the allure of the modern build.
We stayed in one of two cottages, featuring two large master suites with walk in closets. A large common great room includes a kitchen, dining area and living area with gas fireplace, Furniture and minibar snacks were all locally provided by local island artisans.
All gourmet meals are included and Tamsin does not disappoint. All ingredients are locally sourced and chicken, lamb and eggs are free-range. She had to admit that the coffee comes from the mainland, since no coffee is produced on the island.
Our wildlife guide, Nikki Redman, was excellent.
If in Kangaroo island, do not miss staying here.

Our family of five just left Oceanview this morning. It is hard to believe they have only been open for a few months as they have left no detail unconsidered. This experience was like staying at the home of an exceptionally gracious friend. The villas are beautifully appointed and so welcoming and comfortable. The food is out of this world. Tamsin went out of her way to create a special lentil dish for my husband which is the Roman tradition to eat for good luck on January 1st. She cared so much about making sure he was happy and her lentils were far better than mine!! Tim, Tamsin and their kids Otto and Rumer all made our stay amazing and welcoming. The island itself also has so much to offer. Despite the island being threatened by fires during our stay there was plenty to do and see and we were never unsafe. We wish the best for this amazing community. This was the last leg of our Australian trip and all I can say is I’m glad we did things in that order. All other accommodations would have paled in comparison. Thank you Tim and Tamsin!

This is a special place. It is not a hotel, there are only 2 villas each with 2 bedrooms. The appointments are absolutely excellent. There are no employees, there are the owners Tim and Tamsin. They have created an eco paradise. The views from the rooms are spectacular. The food is spectacular. The property is spectacular. Tim helped us get to the beach done a slightly treacherous "goat trail" there was an utterly deserted 3-4 km breathtaking beach. Another day we walked around his 500 acre farmlands. One night Tom drove us around the property to see the animals. Each evening we were served a different local gin cocktail followed by a leisurely gourmet meal worthy of a Michelin star. We were blown away by the experience.

We had the most wonderful 5 days on Kangaroo Island staying in the exception Oceanview Eco Villas. Every aspect of the villas has been thoughtfully selected with an eye to luxury and eco factors. The only thing to come between you and magnificent view from the enormous windows is a kangaroo. The food is of a hatted standard and the service warm but yet discreet with the lovely hosts, Tamsin and Tim, being generous with their service and time but discreet enough to know when to leave us alone. We loved the nighttime wildlife spotlighting with Tim and feeding the baby kangaroo as well sunset drinks on the cliff top and the in room massages organised by Tamsin. Whilst initially disappointed that inclement weather changed our plans on one of the days, we were delighted as it enabled us to spend the day relaxing in the glorious villas. Could not recommend more highly - this is the Australian version of the luxury NZ lodges.

We stayed 4 glorious nights in early July, a wonderfully relaxing trip and a great way for us to reconnect away from our busy lifestyle. Tamsin and Tim are the ultimate hosts, discreetly catering to our every need and we felt completely spoilt during our stay. We had the most divine 3 course meals each night and breakfasts each morning, created by the incredibly talented Tamsin. Local produce and local wines were extra special. Dinner on our first night was KI King George Whiting that was caught earlier in the day. Delicious! Tamsin arranged an in room massage for both of us, our masseuse was brilliant! The villas were beautifully appointed with luxury local touches in the well stocked mini bar and beautiful bathroom amenities. From high quality linen to the most incredible view, the villas were a total luxury. Thank you Tamsin and Tim for making our stay so special and memorable.

Stayed here with my wife for 3 nights R&R a few weeks ago. The standard of accomodation is top notch - relaxing and peaceful. It goes to show enviromentally freindly does not need to come with any sacrifices whatsoever.
The views are to die for and so is the food and service provided by Tim and Tamsin. Sunset cocktails on the cliffs a real highlight.
Location is very private, you have 1km of private beachfront for walks, or you can take a picnic hamper (which T&T will prepare for you), to one of the many picturesue locations for lunch (we went to Vivonne Bay).
Cannot fault a thing, hope to be back one day.

We stayed at Oceanview Eco Villas for four nights. The villas have a lovely outlook over Nepean Bay on the north coast of Kangaroo Island and the accommodation offered was very well appointed, elegant and comfortable. Tamsin and Tim (and their delightful daughter) prepared and served us beautiful meals for breakfast and dinner and took care to understand our preferences and to help us plan our stay. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary there and they surprised us with some very thoughtful and attentive touches that day. Kangaroo Island food and drink specialties were featured and much enjoyed. We were very pleased with our stay for our special occasion.

We booked 4 nights at Oceanview. Very glad we did. The highest standard of service and luxury applies from the time you make your first enquiry until the morning you depart. The panaromic views from all ocean-facing windows ensure immediate relaxation and take you to the world of nature immediately. Kangaroos graze in the fields and Tim will also arrange to take you on a brief night escapade to see what nocturnal creatures are up and about. The quality of the inclusions is exceptional - bedding, bathroom facilities, sound system, mini bar and clothes and luggage storage. Whilst it would be tempting to say that Tamsin's cooking is the highlight, it is probably more accurate to say that her kitchen expertise is just one of many highlights. Okay, maybe my highlight! It is close to many of the places nearby that you may wish to visit during the day and knowing what is in store on your return adds to the enjoyment. Tamsin and Tim's knowledge of the area and their use of local produce ensures that you get the most out of your Kangaroo Island stay.

We highly recommend Oceanview Eco Villas to anyone planning a trip to Kangaroo Island. They met us at the airport to greet us upon arrival. After settling in to our Villa Tamsin and Tim delivered delicious cocktails to us. They sat down and shared their off the grid eco philosophy and made sure we were comfortable in our Villa. The Villa was a 5 star accommodation with 2 bedrooms,2 bathrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen. Picture windows made you feel like you were part of the beautiful scenery and a bonus was watching the deer and wallabies steps from your patio. Dinner was delivered to our Villa and was again 5 star gourmet. In the morning we ate a beautiful breakfast in our Villa then were picked up by Becky for our day of adventuring the island which included a picnic lunch and scenery that can only be described as breathtaking. During our stay I held a koala bear, fed kangaroos, walked among sea lions and saw other beautiful wildlife and seascapes. I'm sorry if this review is long but I just got home and am reflecting on our experience which can't be summed up in a few sentences. We look forward to our next visit to Oceanview Eco Villas and the warm hospitality from Tamsin and Tim.
