They are now in the middle of reconstruction. But if you are not planing to stay there for 2 weeks and searching for the best views from your tent/house that really doesn't meter at all. We wanted to take 3 nights in house and manager just gave them to us 3 at cost of 2, and some coins for shover...

Overall we were impressed with this campsite. It is very good value for money and about an hour and a bits walk from the city center which would have been quicker, but the footpath which provided a shortcut around the lake was close when we were there! The staff are very friendly and the toilet and shower block are looked...

Good place if you want to visit Stavanger and its surroundings. Located quite close to the centre and to the port if you want to take a ferry to Preikestolen. Nice area, lots of places for tents, very good prices - we paid 200 NOK for 1 tent, 4 people & car. Clean and well organized. Plus very helpful reception...

Not a campsite as you would think, just land owned by the lake with busy public footpath running through the middle. No camp security at all which could potentially be an issue. About a 15min walk into the centre of stavanger. Poor kitchen, needs improving, old cooker and hob. Showers are awesome though, however 10 kroner for only 5 minutes....

Stayed with caravan three days. Went to Flor&Fjære with the shuttle boat. Nice island with a lot of tropical trees. Facilities on camping seems old. Should be updated. Some noise from nearby roads. This summer was very wet. Camp ground also.

Mosvangen Camping is a municipal run campsite with easy access on foot (20 minutes) or bike to the city center. The highway connection is likewise convenient. The location is especially green and ideal for road runners next to the Mosvatnet lake. Be aware that the campsite is super busy during the summer season and leads to chaotic parking especially amongst...

Paid 320nok for a tent and four people. That's rather pricey. Imo, if you're staying there for a night just to get to Preikestolen, might as well camp for free along some fields or other campsites that charge cheaper. The showers, you had to pay 20kr for 5 minutes. That's not a lot of time. As for the grounds, there...

We stayed in a one bedroom cabin. Cleanliness was just OK; only a small stove to cook; no cutlery, pans & pots (but you can rent them from the reception). The shared showers (to pay with tokens) and toilets in the sanitary building were probably the least clean (although still OK) we got in our month long Scandinavia trip. WIFI...

Arrived after midnight due to late flight but had called and arranged to pay in morning . Friendly staff lots of showers and washing up facilities. Situated by a lake only 15 mins walk to Central stavanger so ideal place for the start or end of a Pulpit rock hike . Avoid the silly Norway hotel prices and camp here...

Because it was raining heavily we decided to stay in a cabin. The cabin itself was pretty good and sufficient. There was everything you need an the price for 550 NOK was okay. What i didn't really like where the sanitary facilities. They are pretty shaby. I can't even mention the kitchen......there is one real kitchen, which is so small...
