Great hotel friendly staff nice clean room comfortable beds. Great location only fault with this is didnt have a fridge in my room which isnt a disaster i suppose always enjoy staying here as its right next to airport.
Fantastic and Highly recommend this Hotel for Seminars and Conferences. The staff was fantastic, the meals were fantastic, and the room was fantastic. Really enjoyed the spaces and amenities. The measures put in place for the Covid 19 really made me feel safe.
I recently stayed here for a single night traveling back to the UK. It’s the first time I’ve been in this hotel and what else can I say other than wow. Check-in, even late at night was a breeze. Was nice to see Covid precautions in place. The main lobby is spacious and certainly sets a comfortable mood. The room itself was an interesting mix of certainly masculine design accented with more feminine touches. Soft, variable lighting throughout and large picture windows giving a view out toward last the airport (from my room anyway). The highlight of the room was definitely the bathroom, specifically the shower. Frosted in all the right places, and located right near the bedroom makes it quite voyeuristic. The room was very clean and comfortable, and even had a mini bar that stayed illuminated even when all other lights were out... drawing your gaze like that of an insect at night. Was a bit disappointed the TV was not of the Smart variety, but that’s neither here nor there. The small shelf under the TV as well as the wall along the entry showed obvious signs of wear, but did not feel “dirty”. Very well kept and would certainly recommend for short transits through. Not exactly close to Bergen proper to use for a convenient base.…
We had a reservation for August at this hotel, then the COVID-19 quarantine hit and we could not get to Norway. The hotel would not even consider transferring our reservation to the same date next year even though we had no control over getting to the hotel. We did not ask for a refund, just a re-booking. This was the only hotel out of the 5 were had booked in Norway that would not offer us a refund or a re-booked reservation. Very disappointing. Be careful if you book with this hotel and the pandemic is still going on.
I always have a nice stay at this hotel. Breakfast is great, but the corona times has halted the buffet with prepackaged breakfast items, but I understand this is just the way things are for now. The restaurant serves good food, but I always make an effort to head into the city for dinner. This time, the past two nights whilst trying to enjoy a peaceful beer in the bar, I unfortunately have to listen to two bar/restaurant staff shouting and arguing over how their are unhappy with their pay, manager, NAV etc. They need to learn to shut up and appreciate that even though most guests are only on a one night stop, they still appreciate a peaceful evening without these two jokers taking the p*ss. Always a great hotel with friendly, pleasant staff but this is by far the worst performance to date. Get rid of them.…
