Grimen Camping is about 30-45 minutes away from Bergen,if you take tram and bus. It lies directly next to a lake, so the view is great. The street on the other side is, especially at later times, no problem. The bath with showers and toilets is nothing special, but good enough and fair for the price; if everybody tries to... More

The facilities are terrible and dirty. the campsite is not even proper for camping. The place is Expensive for what it offers. We stayed there for 2 nights in a tent, to visit Bergen. It is the worst camping I have ever been to. I won't recommend this place.

Arrival of campers are accepted until 22h30, so, there is noise when you're sleeped ; in more, these campers don't respect space, they stick to your tent! Inconvenient shower and very expensive washmachine and dryer... In brief, too expensive for what it is. Two positive points: view on the lake & proximity of bus to go to Bergen city.

Traveling on our motorbike we had a very pleasant stay at Grimen Camping. Our cabin was very comfortable and the facilities good. We found the manager Lars particularly helpful and accommodating and highly recommend this campsite to other bikers

Grimen camping was perfect for our needs. It was a clean site with nice views (not quite as shocking as some other places in the area) and if you had the Bergen card, was in the zone of free public transport into Bergen. Also, the airport was very close, an easy 20min drive for us. The facilities were good, hot... More

Although the camping lies right by a busy road, it is situated in a lovely setting, on the shore of a lake with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. We stayed in a small, neat cabin with two bunk beds, an electric hob, kettle and a mini fridge, with table and chairs. The linens cost NOK 80 per person. Probably... More
