The location is excellent in the heart of Bergen. We liked the style of the hotel, a mixture of old and modern. The free tea- and coffee-bar was a Nice and appreciated bonus. The weather was awful - but when we choose to travel to Bergen i March..... :-)

I loved this hotel. We stayed two times. Both rooms were very good, but mostly the first one, which had bed reclining control. The food was great. It is very well located in the historic center. I loved staying in this hotel.

No full grain bread to chose of. Very limited brands of cheese. Very little fresh fruit. The room was spacious but cold. The staff provided good service and were helpful and nice. I don't have anything more to add..................................................................................

Location is excellent, within walking distance to most tourist attractions. The buffet breakfast was also excellent, and the free coffee, tea and hot chocolate at all times was a bonus. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Nice little hotel one block away from the old harbour town. The rooms are large and clean wi t have an antique feel to the entire hotel. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend the First Hotel Marin.

We got a free upgrade which was nice. Only downside was that we had to leave early to get to the airport and they couldn't pack us breakfast since we would miss the complementary one in the morning. Everything else was great... including the staff and location.

We were not happy. A lot of noise from the street and neighbours. Poor and messy breakfast in a very poor and messy breakfast-room. It is actually just sad, because the dining room has a lot of potential, but it felt like eating in an cafeteria. Very disappointed.

The Hotel is located in the center of town. We had a good view over the city. The rooms are old, and need some upgrade. But it has a lot of charm, and the staff is helpful and very friendly. I have been here before, and will definetly stay here again.

Nice big room, very helpful staff. Parking available under the hotel but not owned by them, make sure you pay. There are lots of reminders. Breakfast not as comprehensive as in other hotels but still ok.

Service is very good and the rooms are larger then normal, giving you enough number of chairs and a place to work. The hotel is in the centre only one minute from the Hansa bridges and two minutes from Fløybanen.
