You're staying in a room on the ground floor of a local house in a real neighborhood (not in the tourist area) But just 10 minutes by foot to the heart of town. The room is private and feels separate from the house with its own entrance. You have everything you need, wifi, laptop, coffee/tea, bathroom amenities, etc The key...

We stayed in the B&B of Anne Helene for a week, we chose it on basis of the very positive reviews which she got already on Tripadvisor, and another reason was the price, which is réally very good in comparison of the for us really ridiculously expensive accomodations in Bergen! It was a pleasure for us to stay there, the...

My husband and I stayed with Anne-Helene for 3 nights in Bergen. We had booked this B&B based on other positive reviews on Trip Advisor but were, unfortunately, very disappointed with our stay. The room itself is tiny and very cramped with furniture - there's no space for bags or suitcases and no wardrobe for your clothes - it was...

Anne was a lovely host very helpful with everything. The house is located in a great picturesque neighborhood not far from the city center. The room is not big but it's very cozy and comfortable, lovely bathroom and very clean. We had a great time.

Like Jane M, we were really delighted to have stayed at Anne Helene's B&B rather than a typical hotel. Cozy, comfortable and very well located. Situated in the most beautiful and authentic part of Bergen, very quiet (good nights) and easy to walk to the centre (10 minutes). We missed the breakfast because we thought it was too expensive for...

This is not a bed and breakfast. It's a couch and paid breakfast! This sofa killed our backs! I really do not know where to start. After reading a lot of this place I've thought it was worth trying. But certainly was not. The place is really far from downtown, if you got heavy baggage you have to get a...

I'm sorry you had such an awful experience and I'm sorry it has brought up in you such an intense anger. I sure had appreciated you talking to me directly about this, but you did not. As for cockroaches, I have never seen one in those 37 years I have been living here, so there you are mistaken. I refrain...

Not much more to add than in Jane M's review except read the other reviews and details carefully. I loved the place but it may not suit everyone. If you are of the chain hotel persuasion then this will not work for you, however if you want to live like a local in a quirky little property with a great...

Delighted to have stayed at Anne Helene's B&B rather than a typical hotel. Cozy, comfortable and very well located to all amenities in Bergen. Felt like I was living the experience of being in Bergen, as the accommodation is situated in a wonderful neighbourhood of cobbled streets and beautiful wooden homes. Anne Helene is a charming host and her attention...

I stayed in Anne Helene's B&B for five nights while on a research trip in Bergen. There was no problems in booking the room or settling in, and Anne Helene is a wonderful host. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the main, picturesque harbor is only a five to ten minute walk away. The house itself is...

I stayed at the room downstairs at Anne Helene's B&B. She's a lovely lady who is very warm and welcoming. Booking a room, and then arriving and getting settled in was very easy. No hassle whatsoever. Room itself is a bit small but very comfortable, with plenty of beautiful decorations. You can see that effort has been spent on all...
