Beautiful house but more a b&b, the pool was not working which was informed about after paying for the stay - a bit speculative. Nice breakfast, but whey to pricey based on facilities. Not going back.

Pros: This place is like you are in a dream. Overlooking the ocean and mountains, the room is classy and clean. The lady of the house prepares fresh breakfast and the spread is very impressive. It is a 10 min drive to the airport. The massive botanical garden (in reality, a forest) was within a 30 min walk. There is a pool in the villa, but it was too cold and rainy to go in. We initially only had an overnight stay at the place - so we decided to extend by a day to enjoy the place more. It was a complete cut off from civilization. The pros of this place, are primarily intangible! Cons: Too expensive for the facilities you get - it really is a bed&breakfast after all. There are no restaurants around the place either. The house itself has no lunch or dinner options. I would have appreciated if we could at least get fruits at night, but no! A restaurant called icookkitchen was relatively close by - so we made the most of it.

Villa Charlotte is a very nice place with a fantastic view, the rooms are nice but please remember this is not a Hotel but a B&B so the service is very limited. You need a car or other transportation facilities to stay there, it is in the midle of nowhere and the taxi to Bergen is very expensive and you need to wait very long time for it to come. The villa needs some renovations but still nice, but I think it is generally much to expensive 50% to much, I will not come again.
