Nice and helpfull staff. Some rooms needs to be updated and some are already redecorated nicely. The best part of this hotel is the spa. Very very nice! Spend many hours there. But remember if you want to book an massage etc you have to do that 5 weeks in advance. But it is worth the wait. The breakfast buffet...

We had a banquet with colleagues there. Overpriced food. The salmon which is supposed to be perfect in Norway was overcooked and moreover from frozen. I left it almost untouched - so bad it was. The personnel was kind and helpful. However, I don't suggest this place for banquets due to bad food.

Been here severals times. Even it's older hotel but room sizes are bigger than in the usual hotel. And you can get access to a spa for a small charge. Food was excelent! Staff was very nice and helpful and the cleaning was good each time i visited. Recommend!

The people working here could not have been more pleasant, the breakfast was wonderful (and they had very good coffee- rare in Norway) our room was spacious. That said, it was shabby and worn and not inexpensive. It was our most expensive room in Norway and bay far - by miles- the worst. Everything needed an upgrade. Bathroom tiles cracked....

Britannia hotel reminds me of England (quite natural with such a name), with its oak clad walls, library-ish bar, old, creaking elevators, and plenty of other hints of yesteryear. The breakfast, however, is really something to behold, and to taste; It seemed they had a chef for everything; cooking omelet, making waffles and toast and so on. Omelet's cooked to...

This an old hotel located in downtown Trondheim. It has its charm, but the age really shows and it looks quite worn in places. I stayed for a conference and the ventilation in both my room and in the conference rooms was poor. On the upside the staff is both professional and very friendly. The food is excellent with a...

We had a long weekend in Trondheim, and had a great stay at this hotel. The breakfast were amazing, and the spa also wery good. It is a old hotel, and the rooms not 100% up to date, but good beds and clean room👍🏽 We will come back any time😃

The location is perfect, right in the city center. The hotel is a little bit worn and old fashioned. The room was clean and quite big.The service excellent and helpfull. If location is important for you this hotel is an excellent choice.

Huge hotel, I got lost several times between my room and the reception. Had a nice bathtub and it was possible to boil water for tea/coffee. Very central. However I prefer hotels a little more modern than this.

Was all OK, but everything was a little dated for our liking. Like the lifts being rickety, rooms all a bit tired. Breakfast was sold as 3rd best in Norway and was good in a nice setting but only 2nd to The Scandic by Trondheim Airport where we had stayed a night a few days earlier! The real disappointment was...
