Just the room and quiet we needed to get a good night sleep before continuing our journey the next day! And the most calming atmosphere for a hotel breakfast ever, with an autumnally view to the forest and mountains we were surrounded by. Fair prices and pleasant staff. The only thing, that could be missing, was an available minibar with...

Heia has fair prices just short of NOK 1.000, - but this time it was more filthy than usual. This review was written before negotiations on a price reduction. I am not hopeful. The hotel manual says; “If objections are not raised on arrival, you will not be compensated the next day.” Fair enough! Bye, bye; Heia! Last year I...

The place is located just south of Grong, about halfway (660km) between Oslo and Bodø. The place is family run and the price for a double room is just short of NOK 1.000. The breakfast is included. They serve dinner. I would have liked to charge my eletronic gadgets at the night table, but that was not an option. The...

We were travelling with motorcycles and it had rained all day, so we were wet and tired when we decided to find a place to stay overnight. Next stop was Heia. We paid for a cabin which was located just next to to hotel/motel. Cabin was outdated for sure, but it was pretty much clean. Day was cold and once...

A very quick stop here, check in, fall asleep, eat a bit of breakfast and then leave. This was what we wanted, where we wanted it. The breakfast wasn't all that, but it was very Norwegian, so if you want authenticity, you are in the right place =) The room was one of the largest double rooms I've ever stayed...

We have stayed here before, but our last 8 nights this year has been with the Starwood Hotels in the US and its Westin concept, - I guess we have been spoilt? This is not a hotel, but it has most of the amenities. The beds are narrow and a bit squeaky. The bathroom has a shower, but all items...

Was on my way to Tromsø by car and needed a place to sleep. Huge space for parking outside the hotel. Was checked in at once. Very basic room. but clean, spaceous and sufficient for my need. The room comes with a TV with satellite channels and free internet (WLAN). Breakfast was great, everything fresh. Paid 800 NOK for the...
