The automatic check-in system didn't work. Had to stand in a long line. The handrail for the bathtowel is inside the shower cabin(!) Not so very convenient. One of the shades in front of the window was partly broken. And why isn't it possible to dim the lights in the room. Now it is on and off, nothing inbetween. And 'on' was very much on. Felt like turning on heavy spotlights on a field when putting on the iight in the room.
The plus here is great location. I loved the room. It is a good value hotel and it also has a nice restaurant and bar (didn't try). Breakfast was also surprisingly good - didn't expect so nice choices.
this super central Oslo hotel is a perfect blend in between of business or tourist stay. Very nice staff in the barception guides your way to a personalized and perfect stay ❤️ i can just give my best recommendations to the breakfast, nice room, staff for a very good prive.
First of all: This is our favorite hotel in Oslo. We have stayed here several times a year, for many years. I am trying to be patient with the hotel and the flaws. However, this third time we stayed started with us getting a smaller ("modest") room than what we payed for. We asked to change to standard, which we had booked. We were told to come back the next morning and see if a standard room had become available. The next morning we got a new room, and we changed room with all our luggage. There was no apology or even an extra upgrade which one would consider a polite gesture from the hotel, when we were given a smaller room than what we paid for the first night of the weekend. When showering on the next morning in our new room, the water was only luke warm. We didn't bother to tell the receptionist to get a new room AGAIN for this weekend. But I wonder: Is this part of an environmental profile? To save warm water? Please inform your guests so that they can choose for themselves, if this is the case.…
Nicely located. Great potential for improvement for some receptionists; some were unresponsive and were perceived as unpleasant in their service. Breakfast was bra. The lounge and bar were good, very nice people who worked during breakfast and the bartenders in the evening! Should have had a holding mattress when booking a double room. There were two single mattresses that were space
