Quite expensive but among cheaper in norway, no security lockers in room, linen for rent, breakfast for 55 NOK but I didnt have it. I stayed in room for 8, rooms are quite small, but bathroom inside, I didnt use any of hostel entertainment but i could see fussball, tv, internet. Overall i would stay again because of its price...

I have stayed in Anker Hostel for two nights. It's price is quiet good for Oslo, especially considering the fact that you will be very close to city center and Central Station ! The staff is very friendly and you could find some people to talk with. However , everything except for the bed and hot water(!) is costing you money...

The hostel isn't bad, its very average in most things with the exception of the location. Many of Oslo's sights are within walking distance and moving around the city form this location by public trasnport is quite easy. What I didn't like is being charged extra for sheets and not provided with a towel, which I haven't experience before in...

During our trip to Oslo, we stayed in Anker hostel. The location is very good, 10mins walking from the centre and 2mins from several restaurants and bars, and a tram stop just in front of it. Even if surrounded by city hotspots, the hostel is still in a quiet corner. The room was basic, but clean. The only surprise was...

Anker Hostel is one of the cheapest places to stay in Oslo, so you can't expect luxury, and the place is good for the price. The location is close to the city centre, and so it's a good base for exploring, and only 10 minutes walk from the train station and bus terminal when arriving or leaving. Thanks to the...

The place is ugly and sterile. People that are working there are dull and lifeless. There is no WI FI in rooms. They are charging extra for everything including linen. One day I didnt have 100 NOK but 70 and they didn't want to lend me dishes. They made me go to the exchange office. The toilet was broken and...

The Anker is an ok hostel, I've stayed in much better and much worse places. The rooms are big enough and have cooking facilities. The female staff were very nice, but the men were slightly rude. It's in a good location, directly across the street from a tram stop, and that's the best thing going for it. If you just...

Although the Anker Hostel was clean and the rooms had their own bathroom and kitchen, the atmosphere of the hostel was very boring and empty. The common area was comprised only of sofas and coffee tables, which was not very conducive to mingling or meeting people. There were no decorations and virtually no character to the place, which made it...

Five of us rented a room together to stay here for one night. The hostel was very clean and the room spacious. The room also included a small kitchen area and a table which was very convenient for socialising. The check-in process was relatively fast and the staff were happy to refund extra linen I paid for but realised I...
