My husband and I visited with a couple of our friends and stayed for two nights. This is an ideal location about a 10-15 min walk to the fortress, Aker Brygge and central station. The buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and offered...More
We arrived late midweek, and was met by a welcoming front desk. The first impression of the hotel was that it has a special charm, as the building and interior has character.
We booked one of the smaller rooms as that was what we could...More
The service is wonderful, but the rooms are small and so small that the TV was facing another wall where you couldn't have sat to watch a program. The shower was so small that I decided it wasn't worth the inconvenience.

Location is ok, but there are numerous better hotel alternatives in the area. So the verdict; simply not good enough! From the size of the room, the shower, the view, the bed, the duvet the service. The hallways appeared newly refurbished though (within the last...More
Hard to fault this hotel. Only there two nights but they couldn't do enough for my family. Friendly, helpful English-speaking staff (like everyone we met). Comfortable room with lots of space, terrific buffet breakfast and evening meal thrown in, and free pancakes and brownies with...More

Thank you for your question.
If you are interested in doing different things during the days you are here, such as museums or using the public transportation, I would definitely recommend it. But its a good idea to look into the things you want to do, so you get the time to do it, and therefore take as much advantage of the Oslo Pass as possible.
Hope this was helpful, I would also have a look at the Oslo Pass webpage to look at the different attractions you can use it.
Wishing you a good day!

We have two different types of family room, one with a double bed and one with a sofa bed. But if we want to reserve a family room, we can always reserve one room with the double bed which is better for adults. The family room has the other beds in a separate bedroom, which means good space.
FYI you are paying for two people to get one of these rooms, because it is meant for at least four persons.
If not we also have our superior room, but then it will be with a sofa bed. So if you are staying for several days we recommend the family because of the bigger space.
I hope this was helpful.
We hope to see you here some time!
Welcome to us.
