I have stayed in Bristol 4 times now whilst working in Oslo. Its a charming hotel, well situated in the city and the staff is service minded. I would really recomend the coctail bar on the hotel grounds. Great classical coctails and superb service from the bartenders. Best 4 star hotel in Oslo by a mile.

This is the best hotel I have stayed at in Oslo. The building has style and atmosphere, with beautiful restful decor in the public spaces and in the bedrooms. A highlight is the restaurat where dinner is superb and breakfast is one of the best around. Strongly recommended, especially as the prices are not as high as often in Oslo....

Stayed here with friends on a BA package for a long weekend. It's a lovely old world hotel - quite grand but not stuffy. Very comfortable room, nice bathroom with L'Occitane cosmetics. The lounge area is fab - it has a cafe serving the most amazing cakes and sandwiches with lots of nice places to sit and people watch. However,...

Brief overnight stay but hotel is quite grand, centrally located and beds comfortable. Only a five minute walk to the National Theatre Station for Flytoget train back to airport. Breakfast was of excellent variety and quality. Would stay again if visiting Oslo for a couple of days but not just a brief stay before onward flight as quite far from...

What a way to start our holiday in Norway. The room was lovely with heated tiles in the bathroom. Bathroom was fitted Loccitane body care products. Staff were friendly and had great local knowledge and helped us save a bit of money with transport and local eateries! Breakfast was a joy. The dining hall was beautiful and classy. I would...

Old style grand hotel. Nice welcome , good sized room . It's dated but charming. Bar & breakfast room especially stylish & comfortable . A nice change from corporate conformity. First choice in Oslo , and it comes at an OK price.

The hotel is huge and rooms are clean. TV is very big. Nevertheless, heating is loud, no main switch for all lights, and the gym is very very small. Location is great and staff very friendly and helpful.

A great place for the business or pleasure traveler. I can’t recommend this hotel more highly. 1. The staff were superb. They all spoke fluent English and were welcoming. When I arrived, I was given a free upgrade to a suite for no reason (it was off-season, so I imagine they had the capacity). The gesture was wonderful. 2. The...
