Location is outstanding. New area which is recently developed has restaurants and much more next-by. Our room was really 10/10 and had a really exceptional view ! be sure to check the concept rooms as well. Breakfast was delicious and pretty relaxed. Overall a really good experience ! Thanks !

Walked into the hotel and instantly greeted by a smiling and cheerful front desk staff :) But during my visit in Norway, I found the Norwegian were surprisingly friendly :). I loved the modern decor immediately :). Though when we entered the room, I found a pair of baby socks hanging in the bathroom !. I wouldn't really found it...

Thank you for your nice feedback! We are very sorry that we were not able to give you a 100% clean room when you arrived, but nevertheless hope you come back at a later occasion. I can assure you that this was a one-time accident.

We enjoyed our stay at the scandic vulkan very much. The room was modern, the staff nice and the breakfast tasty. Not located in the centrum, you get to see a different part of the city while still having walking distance to all the sights. We can recommend the hotel warmly. However, there were a few flaws. When checking in,...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights while in Oslo. Next to the Market, across from Michelin star restaurant Kontrast, walking distance to grunnerloka with restaurants, park and outdoor seating. A little bit of a walk to the city center but you can do so by a river path or streets (about 30 min walk). Great breakfast spread....

Frendly service from check in to check out. Lobby and surroundings were desinged with good taste and atmosphere was welcoming. Our room was very clean, and furnitures and everything seemed to be quite new. Only thing we were unhappy was the double bed witch was made from two single beds. When we visited there were free parking campaign also. Breakfast...

I really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are quirky, spacious and functional. Plus, at £90 bed and breakfast, great value for a very-expensive Oslo. The breakfast was superb, and had so much choice; it caters for everyone's tastes. The staff are very well trained, polite and helpful. The location is good. It's not in the tourist area, which I liked....

Great experience: modern hotel with a gym (although a bit tiny), helpful staff, comprehensive breakfast, safe and secured underground car park, only 15min walk from the lake side. I would definitely recommend.

Close to the city center, modern and situated in very cool area. River is just few steps away and its possible to reach the city center walking by the river. Luv it! Breakfast - busy and a planty of choice. Bed was confy, so you could have nice rest after hanging around. Recommendation!

The hotel is removed from the center. Small room and very cramped. The room does not have a case for it is simply no place. Room space is used as much as possible in IKEA. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and varied. Quite clean and tidy.

Great value for reasonable price. Modern hotel in excellent location, in the trendy Grunerlokka neighborhood yet walking distance from center. Clean and modern room with comfortable beds. Superb breakfast buffet. Highly recommended!
