We stayed at the Grand Hotel Oslo with our children after a ski trip and it was amazing. The decor is beautiful, all the staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was perfect for us as a family of four, the location was perfect, and the breakfast was excellent. We'd definitely stay here again next time we're in Oslo.

A grand hotel, indeed. Amazing location with excellent service all around. The breakfast was excellent and was definitely one of the highlights. We did have issues with the internet connection most of the time, so that was a bit concerning. Other than that, the place was spotless, service superb, and food amazing. Thanks. Keep up the good work

If only all business hotels could be like this. "Of course we don't need your passport sir." "Of course our Wifi is free of charge." "Yes of course we have a power adapter for you - just bring it back when you checkout." "You'd like some room service... of course i'll have it delivered in the next ten minutes (!!!)"....

We visited in December to take advantage of the Christmas markets but the disadvantage in December is daylight is from about 9-3 daily. The hotel staff is friendly and we had a great room on the 7th floor with a small outdoor sitting area that looked down to the palace. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable....

First I was really impressed with the quality and size of the grand deluxe room, the grandiosity of the public areas, and the central location. Then my WiFi went down after some hours and despite two complaints to two different staff members I was asked to just go onto the hotel's Telenor free WiFi which works but isn't exactly lightning...

The recent renovation of the hotel brings a new (and welcome) modernity. Good service, spacious rooms and great location. Limited choice on the room service menu Also I've stayed many times in this hotel and had a few times a room with a window on the inner yard. These rooms are dark even during a sunny day and I miss...

For one night I stayed in a very very comfortable room, with a view towards the "avenue". Breakfast was very good, so many choices! And then I went to the spa for a swim, a sauna and relaxing. A great experience!

I got a night at Grand Hotel, in Oslo, as a birthday gift. The room 361, is a ok room. I've had better rooms in the past. clean and tidy as usual. The most upsetting was the sound from the subway or trams, which ended past midnight, and started early in the morning. Since my live-in is not that experienced,...

I'm not sure what The Grand Hotel looked like prior to its renovation but it is VERY nice now. The location is good, right on Karl Johan's Gate across the street from the Norwegian Parliament building, the Stortinget. Check in was quick, the rooms nicely appointed and that rooftop bar and spa is pretty spectacular. The hotel is also within...
