We got transferred to Viking Hotell from City Living Hotel, which we booked in the first place. We ended up living in "Gold" apartment and it was great. The apartment is very spacious, with large living room, well-equipped kitchen and a nice bedroom with very comfortable beds. Bathroom and bedroom had heated floors, which was wonderful in cold winter days....

This review is being placed under both City Living Tromso and the Viking Hotel Apartments as we booked the former, but ended up staying in the later. Both are owned and managed by the same company. My wife and I and my two elderly parents stayed in Tromso over new year 2016/2017 for a week. We booked two apartments in...

We stayed in the Viking Apartments, we had reserved a 3 bedroom but got a 4 bedroom in the end. The apartment overall was great. As others have pointed out, hot water goes fast so keep the showers fast and try to avoid back to back showers with your travel companions. The location is fantastic. A short walk from the...

We had a top floor apartment which was lovely and cosy. The rooms were of a good size, the kitchen had everything we needed (apart from a microwave but wasn't much of an issue), the living room was lovely and comfy, and the hallway and bathroom had underfloor heating which were really welcome after days out in the freezing cold....

Lovely apartment in the centre of tromso. Warm and cosy. Close to everything. All mod cons and decent size TV. Good places to eat. Although very expensive you don't really mind... when your husband is paying..

We stayed as a family of 6 quite comfortably in their 4 bed apartment. It is about 2-3 mins walk from the Viking Hotel and a further 5 minutes into the town i.e. a perfect location. The apartment was well equipped. There were plenty of towels, dressing gowns, hot water - you name it.....except the lights. The only snag was...

We reserved an apartment through the hotel, and paid a couple months in advance. When we arrived we were told the place wasn't ready. By this they didn't mean they needed to put towels in the room. They actually meant the apartment was not finished being constructed! After waiting a long time we were taken to a new building, still...

Nice one bed warm cosy apartment with all the mod cod's, no bath but had everything else there including cutlery and saucepans, free view TV, WiFi and nice comfy sofas. Highly recommend if you don't want to stay in a hotel.

The rooms where well presented and clean. If small. I did hit my shoulder on the TV trying to get to the other side of the bed as the gap between the end of the bed and the wall wasn't great, however the cleaning staff where punctual. We where always offered more towels and the bed was comfy.
