I enjoy my stay at this place during the months of December- to see the Northern lights. The place is about 30-40 mins walk up and downhill from the city center, its quite a nice walk but if you prefer there is a bus stop at the front door. The rooms vary in size, but it was comfortable enough. The...

I had read excellent reviews of Home Sleep and decided to use it as our base for our week in Tromso. It is not a hotel, but is not exactly a guest house either. Instead it is rather like a self-catering flat. Home sleep is in a quiet, well-to-do suburb of town, up on the hill less than a couple...

This place has a large communal lounge/kitchen and a washing machine/dryer. There is only one bathroom for about 6 rooms but it wasn't a problem. The rooms have TV and a bath robe. Coffee and tea is provided. It's a half hour walk to the centre but a bus NOK 45/journey stops outside the door. A great place to meet...

Four days in Tromsø, with a tight budget, Home Sleep is the best option when you look on the internet. And when you arrive there, it's perfect ! Nice and cosy rooms, shared bathroom and kitchen, a common place with sofas... So comfortable, and Samuel, the owner, knows a lot about the city and its surroundings, and gave us good...

Best solution in Tromso! Shared kitchen and bathroom, perfect to stay for a week. We were so close to the beach in the south-west part of Tromso Island, perfect place to see the Northern Lights ;) "Home Sleep" was a great choice! Approved ;)

Excellent self catering accommodation on the south west side of Tromso Island. There are 4 bedrooms that share a kitchen, living room and bathroom. There is also a shared balcony which offers views of the surrounding fjords and distant mountains. We cooked our own meals in the kitchen each night as the cost of eating out is staggering. As we...

This is a house Guri and Samuel purchased some years back which is let out to tourists. Rooms are nice and furnished. The house is maintained well. They have a map on the wall where Sam attaches the pins to mark people from various countries visiting his place, which was quite full and understandably so. Our room was little small...

Do you want to feel like you are staying with family or friends when you visit Tromso, Norway? If so, I would highly recommend Home Sleep operated by Guri & Samuel Estdahl. With most regular hotel starting at a rate of K$750 per night for single occupancy, I quickly booked Home Sleep online when I saw it was offering the...

This is not typically a hotel. This is more of a home stay (though the owners don't stay at the place) where you would have to share the place with others. Nice comfy rooms, all amenities provided. Guri and Samuel have maintained this place quite nicely. What I liked the most about this place is the hospitality from the owners....
