This hotel is just outside the city centre but easily walkable to central locations. Just across the road you can get a tram to some parts of the centre or a little further takes you to one of the underground/subway stations. The hotel was perfectly clean and the room was fine. Breakfast and the breakfast room was fine too. We...

I was stayed in Strudlhof for 1 night in October 2016. I choosed this hotel mainly for price. Accommodation in Wien is usually rather expensive, and Strudlhof seems for sleeping overnight ok. And it was. I arrived late night, but guy in reception was quick, professional and friendly. I has got room keys with 3-4 minutes :) Room was big,...

Good hotel for the price. Very clean. Nice bathroom supplies. Nice staff. Loved the room. Only feedback was that we were not that breakfast is extra. We went in thinking its included and paid 16 euro per person. ( The food was good). Just we didn't know that it was extra. The rooms and place is very nice. Recommended.

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighbourhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighbourhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
