According to their website if you book online you get some benefits. Fruits, mineral water in the room etc. We did not get anything of that. Poor WiFi in the room. Breakfast was very good for a 3 star hotel and the staff was very friendly. Metro is only 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Price ok.

A 10-minute walk from U2-Taborstrasse, stores and restaurants in the surrounding area. Hallways, room and bathroom clean and in good shape. Availability of single rooms as well, decent price range. For single travellers, couples or families, good alternative for Vienna visit.

It's so near Thaborstrasse U station. Very easy to reach center, friendly staff and so clear room. The only negative condition was poor wifi internet connection from room. We recomended everybody. No regret if you stay.

Nice place, big rooms and located in the center but not the busy part with and affordable price. However, it is a bit complicated to get to the room, you can not pay by card unless is more than 100 euros (be aware as I run out of cash and I had to pay comission at the atm), also the...

We had an apartment ar the Resonanz Hotel. Very spacious 2 rooms, big kitchen. Bathroom decent size- shower stall was on the small side. Check-in was smooth even though we arrived late in the evening. The staff was very helpful with tips on where to eat, where to find supermarkets etc. Small elevator. Breakfast was included and we enjoyed it...

This a small bed and breakfast. I stayed here as part of a group of 12 persons from work. I did not expect much but was happily supprised. The rooms are clean. The staff freindly. And breakfast was a lot more than a continental breakfast. Its a 10 minute walk to the center of vienna or a quik bus/metro ride....

The reviews for this hotel on Booking.com is quite misleading. Im not sure if i am being deemanding here but i have been to 2 star hotels in past and never has such an awful experience. No proper lighting in the room, 1 table lamp, 1 floor lamp, 2 bedside lamps. One out of the 2 bedside lamps was not...

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
