Excellent location, pleasant design, clean and comfortable. Most friendly and helpful stuff. Free Wi-Fi and good breakfast. We just loved everything, thank you! There was some trouble with a room maid who constantly forgot to refill soap supplies in one of our two rooms, but except this everything was just wonderful.

Centrally located (near the Vienna Opera House), quaint hotel with old-fashion small elevator. The hotel was well-maintained and clean and the staff was generally friendly. Just one gentleman at the reception was not as helpful on one occasion as one might had hoped. I inquired about things to do on a holiday when everything was closed and all I got...

The hotel is conveniently located at 10 minutes pleasant walk to the city centre (opera), yet very close to 2 metro station and just in front of the beautiful Naschmarkt where you could find every kind of food you would imagine. Staff are very kind and keen to help. Breakfast could be better, but there is a choice for every...

Stayed here for two nights on a weekend break with teenage daughter. This is a more traditional style of hotel rather than a modern chain and is in an excellent location close to public transport links and easy walking distance from many sights. We had room 205 which was clean, spacious, with high ceilings, and a view over the Nachsmark....

The Drei Kronen Hotel is in a great location with all the major sights within walking distance. It overlooks the food market which is a wonderful place to wander through and sample some of the Vienna's foody delights. Our room was at the front of the hotel with double aspect windows. The room was spacious, airy, clean and nicely decorated...

Whether you wanted a vegetarian restaurant, cheap ticket for the opera or directions to the Palace, or just a cup of hot water the concierge (Thomas) couldn't have been more helpful, as we were quite a demanding group of ladies. The position of the hotel was good. Breakfast was good and again the staff were efficient. The decor was modest but...

Positive: The location directly at the "Naschmarkt" and 5 min walk from two subway stations ("Karlsplatz" or "Kettenbrückengasse") was very handy! The buidling has lots of charme, especially the winding stairs. *Staff is very friendly and professional. *Breakfast was very lovely (lots of variety)! *The bathrooms are newly renovated, however the furniture is outdated though functional. *Wifi works excellent. Needs...

Amazing friendly staff. Great location. Right beside a busy market. 10minutes walk in to the city... rooms were good. More food and drinks needed at the reception. Other than that everything was good in the hood.

Located at Naschmarkt and near city centre. Hotel is old, faded and worn out. Not very comfortable beds and a tiny shower. Friendly and helpful staff is a plus. Note that rooms on 5th floor have no elevator (stops at 4th).

Rather fiendly and helpful staff. Elevator only until the 4th floor. You have to walk up and down if your room is on the 5th floor. Comfortable rooms for three and two persons. TV with many channels. Proper cleanness everywhere. The towel is a little bit small.Good heating. Rich buffet breakfast: tea, coffee, fruit drinks, scrambled egg, boiled egg, cheese,...

Staying in Wieden

Neighbourhood Profile
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighbourhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
