This hotel is centrally situated very close to the St Stephens Cathedral in the Old Town. The hotel is warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the bathroom has good hot water. The Breakfast (included in the price for the night) is ample with a variety of hot and cold food. But best of all, was the...

Nice hotel, with perfect location in the city centre. Very helpful staff. Nice big room (we stayed in one of the apartments). Good value for money in the city centre. We enjoyed our stay after being fled from horrible hotel Papageno.

Had a wonderful stay here. The staff was very nice and guided us to our room. The room was clean and comfortable with a good shower. They were happy to think with us for picking a location for good schnitzel!

Stayed here for two nights on business trip. Rooms are nice and clean. This hotel looks good for longer stays. They offer a complimentary breakfast which I thought was very good ; great spread of options. Very close to shopping center, restaurants, souvenir shops, train station and many tourist attractions. We checked out very early in the morning before breakfast...

I have been coming here on and off for many years now, since the former owner passed away, due to the hotel's amazing location and friendly staff. Great value for money, a good 4 stars hotel, with a decent breakfast and a good sparkling wine if you are in the mood, 50m from Mozart's house (at least one of them)...

Hotel Domizil is a medium sized, cosy hotel. Friendly, homely, and perfectly situated at 200 meters behind the Stephansdom. Comfortable rooms with good beds and a well equipped bathroom. Breakfast is very good.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Domizil and were very pleased with this hotel. The location is fantastic- less than two blocks from St Stephens and the center of the historic district. The rooms were larger than many we have used in Europe with a very comfortable bed. Some of the rooms have a tub and some...

Really good hotel. Excellent location. You can walk everywhere and you are just behind the Stephansplatz. Close to the metro and 10 minutes walking to the OBB, train that brings you to the airport. Real good breakfast, with fresh fruit, bread, eggs, cereal, everything. We had a excellent service.

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
