Good location near underground stations. Clean and comfortable. The hotel is a family run business with excellent friendly helpful staff. Breakfasts are very good, buffet style with lots of choice. There is a bar and coffee shop within the hotel although we didn't try it so can't comment. Free safe within the room.

The hotel itself is nice, clean, warm (very important!!). Not much atmosphere in the place, the bar looks permanently closed, it isn't but if you walk in someone comes from behind reception to serve you. The buffet breakfast is really good, lots of choices even if the waiter does snatch your plate away the moment your knife hits the plate!...

This hotel is super close to transport at Praterstern, trams, subway and trains, and great value. It was 110 pounds for two nights for two people and breakfast was included, and was delicious. There's not much happening close to the hotel but the rooms were clean, warm and comfortable, although a little small.

My room was very nice. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Great continental breakfast. I was here for a week for business and the location is great for restaurants and close proximity to public transportation.

A nice hotel which is very good value for money. Twenty minute walk to central Vienna or a quick taxi ride.We always found a cab just outside the front door.Less than €7 into centre of Vienna.lot of the cab drivers seem to stop at a little cafe just along the road for coffee which is very handy.House keeping staff good...

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
