Excellent location for the price paid. Hotel room is tiny, as is anywhere in Europe. A bit difficult to find so make sure you get good directions. Buses to/from Vienna Airport ends very near to the apartment thus convenient. Walking distance to all the major sights

Nice, small hotel with excellent location. Public transport easy to catch, metro, busses and trams, all are within few minutes walk distance. Hotel by itself is quiet, staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast is good basic level. Streetside rooms maybe noisy, coz opposite side of road there is construction works, our room was other side of building and there...

I was recently in Vienna for a conference, and stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The hotel is situated in a nice location, and within 5 minutes walk from the Schottenring metro station. The staff was friendly too, with the only issue being the relatively simple breakfast (well, you get what you paid for). If you are in Vienna on...

Small hotel, quiet neighborhood and walking distance from the city center. Close to U-Bahn station and tram stop. Fairly comfortable (though nothing fancy) and breakfast was included. Facilities are quite basic and not so spacious. There wasn't air conditioning (but this seems standard for the area, from what I can tell). When I stayed, there was construction right in front...

Stayed here for one night during a trip across Europe. The hotel is nice and clean with a very boutique hotel feel. The rooms are tidy but very small (to be expected in the centre of Vienna). The included breakfast had limited selection but everything was good. Wifi at the hotel was very fast! The hotel is situated a short...

Stayed here with my wife and father in law so we got a double room. Had all the amenities we've needed. Basically used it to just store luggage, warm shower and comfy nights sleep for our busy walking tours and it provided it all. Elevator was small but did the job, and had to use the hotel key to open...

This is a very nice old hotel in the city center. We managed to get a room here in the last minute since our original booking turned out to be out of the way. The room was pretty small but clean and it had two comfy seats, a desk, and a minibar. The hotel is very nice even though it's...

The location is about 3-minute walk from Metro station, and easy to find. The reception closes at night ("around 10 pm OR SO"), but oddly the receptionist always encourages you to leave your key at the reception. Do not do that. I got inconvenienced by this, when I failed to catch a train to Bratislava on time and had to...

On a 3 day stay in Vienna I had pre-booked the Bajazzo and this turned out to be a major boost to the trip. From arrival to departure the staff were friendly, helpful and had it not been for their assistance my 3 days would have been much less productive. Despite the poor service from Grays Line Tours who failed...

I stayed at this hotel for just one night in June 2015, but it was a very nice, comfortable stay in Vienna. It's located only about 2 blocks from a stop on the green UBahn, and very close to one of the main bus stops in Vienna. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center (Museum Quartier, etc.)...

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
