The Hotel Pension Museum was a terrific find in an otherwise expensive city. We managed to get a great rate of 99E for a room and were a bit skeptical as to what we would find. The room was huge ...with a very comfortable king...More
I stayed here for 4 nights when away on business. Took an age to find it as it is on a very short street and in an unassuming double door immediately next to the entrance to the underground car park of the Hotel Sans Souci...More
Staff attitude was really excellent. Nice and helpful. We can have an early book in, all last day we deposited our luggage. Room was spacious. Breakfasts plentifull. Location of the hotel is perfect - just in the middle of museum district.

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
