This location is perfect! It is right in the middle of all the wonderful shops and close to the U/S Bahn as well! I always like staying in hotels that have character, the room was wonderful with beautiful high ceiling and a very large bathroom. Our room overlooked the busy street below, but noise was very a problem. The front...

This is our second stay here. We've been here for a week. The location is perfect for us, right on the Graben, a wide pedestrian-only area, and near many great restaurants, museums, and shops, and there's a subway stop very close. We have a room that faces the Graben, which means we hear a lot of noise from the people...

If you are in Vienna there is no better location than this pension. However if you want to look out the window and see anything make sure you ask for it at the time of booking or like us u will get a courtyard facing room looking at nothing. What. A shame living on the most wonderful street and to...

Dear Guest! As we are booked out on our Dates, we got no space for a view outside, the rate for looking outside to the street, is a other katergorie, as there was only one room free this was an offer to pay 75 euros for the room upgrade! In vienna the only beside season is in January and February.

I was enjoying my whole Vienna trip, it has good location and the lady who welcomed us when I added room was very nice and informed that breakfast is included in the package. We stayed for 5 days and before breakfast of our departure I have checked and verified if we need to pay anything because room was prepaid, the...

Dear Mr. Ramos, as we told you, we can understand you. We will try to explain our price policy. Our rooms have different rates for single and for double rooms. You booked a single room for a special rate . The double room for this date would have cost more. We didn’t charge you the full difference, , but a...

The rooms in this hotel feel like an airbnb apartment rented from a 90y.o. Austrian grandma. Located in an old building with old authentic (but in good condition) furniture, Pension Nossek has a home-like atmosphere. The staff here is wonderful and treats you as their relative. Our room faced St. Paul's church with just a 2-min stroll to Hofburg or...

When planning my trip to Vienna, I wanted to stay somewhere affordable, but not uncomfortably run-down (I am not a high maintenance person, but I do have some standards). Pension Nossek was perfect for my needs! The location was excellent...easily and cheaply accessible from the Vienna main train station (Wein Hauptbahnhof) by U-Bahn (subway) and within close walking distance (I...

My family and our friends with our kids spent 4 days in Pension Nossek. The location is excellent, but the suit that we had was old and also the double room was old. The beds are old, couch is old....everything is old. When you are watching rooms on the web you can see that they are not the latest but...

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
