Stayed here on my Vienna trips for over ten years now. Excellent, friendly service and plentiful buffet breakfast. Hotel is very centrally located allowing quick access to shops/bars/restaurants/culture but also to the u-bahn for those wishing to travel wider. Rooms are nice, many with new...More
From the time I walked into the hotel I felt at home. The front desk greeted me kindly and checked me in even when I arrived a bit earlier. I very grateful as I had just had a long 18 hour flight from Indonesia. The...More
I booked the hotel for our first anniversary, shocked by how bad and basic the hotel was! Not a simple AC! Even opening the window didn't help as it was opened to a closed patio! Needed to go to the reception to iron out shirt!...More
very impressed by this classic family owned hotel. Room ok size, bathroom alittle small but all the pluses make up for it. Can't fault it's location, great breakfast in stylish oldy-worldy dining room. staff quick to smile and very helpful. Full recommendation well deserved.
I stayed at the Wandl a few weeks ago with a group. The hotel is a traditional older hotel with plenty of character and charm. The location is wonderful and the breakfasts are excellent. It is impeccably clean and well-maintained. Staff at the front desk...More
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

Again, I will repeat what the above reviewer rote ... we were a group of 55 people and I know that 3 gals roomed together ... there was a room with twin beds but then they had a separate little room with another single bed ... not sure which floor this was on but you can ask this question through their website. Good luck. I hope they can accommodate your request ... you will enjoy staying at the Wandl and it's great location! Happy Travels!
