Location is great - easy walking distance to many of Vienna's main attractions and underground.
We stayed on 2 occasions. First room we had was a Superior Double that was quite spacious with wonderful views of St Peter's. Second time round we had a Standard...More
The location cannot be beaten as it is in the perfect place to explore the old city. No air con in summer in a 4* was not brilliant but the hotel did provide a fan. Also no coffee making facilities in the room.
Hotel is in the city center and near all the tourist places. Staff is friendly and cooperative. They dont have AC in rooms and opening the window didn't help as it was opened to a closed patio. You have to ask them for a fan....More
Easy to find, simple check-in, spacious & cool room. Staff are so friendly & fun. The Spanish Riding School, The Opera, The Danube & the great shopping areas are in easy walking distance. Vienna knocks Paris into a cocked hat!

Besides the few fresh potted orchids in the lobby, I was very disappointed. There was no AC.. And we were not even informed by the attendant that this hotel is currently under renovation... Bed was not comfortable, hallways were dull and bland. Service was horrible...More
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

Again, I will repeat what the above reviewer rote ... we were a group of 55 people and I know that 3 gals roomed together ... there was a room with twin beds but then they had a separate little room with another single bed ... not sure which floor this was on but you can ask this question through their website. Good luck. I hope they can accommodate your request ... you will enjoy staying at the Wandl and it's great location! Happy Travels!
