Very good location. The main trade street. Two steps to the metro station. The description and photos on the site correspond to reality. The room is clean and comfortable. There is a kettle in the room. All equipment is in good condition. Wi-Fi with no problem. Lack of an aircon. In hot weather, it can be problem.

This hotel sits on one floor of an apartment block, that has a shop on the ground floor. The location is ideal for sightseeing and shopping. We ate at two local restaurants during our stay that were a 3 or 4 minute walk away maximum. The hotel does not serve dinner or have a bar area. Breakfast cost €8 per...

The principal quality of this hotel is the location- right in the heart of Mariahilfer Straße and a walk away from MuseumsQuartier, one of the hippest places in Vienna. I booked a single room that had a single bed and a sofa. I did not use the TV or the minibar supply. The room was clean and the bathroom as...

Stayed two nights. Very accommodating as they allowed us to leave some items there while we cycled the Danube. Hands on owner family speak excellent English. Helpful with directions and concert bookings. Our room was clean and bright; heat was on (early Oct), overlooking MariaHilfa Str.. Short walk to U3 line. Simple pleasant decor. Excellent value. Note that Aryan is...

The hotel has a very good location, but that's pretty much it. We got a room with a view of the inner courtyard and the elevator shaft, close to the kitchen. Every morning around 6 am we could hear all the conversations (very loud) in the kitchen and dishes clattering for at least two hours. I don't advise anybody do...

As soon as we arrived the room was super hot. This was in July and all they have is a ceiling fan- no A/C. We couldnt leave the windows open either because it was really loud outside as it's located on a busy street. I would stay again for one night only and don't expect a great breakfast either.

If you're not looking for fancy, but clean with excellent, friendly staff and the BEST location, the Arian is it! Stayed for 8 days in Nov/Dec 2015 and have no complaints. Room clean and quiet, bed comfortable, bath spotless and all staff very friendly. The breakfast hostess went above & beyond for me. I had to leave very early for...

Had I not read other reviews, I would have had a bit of difficulty finding this hotel as it is on one floor only of a building. I only stayed one night, but had a huge room on the back (very quiet) side of the hotel. The hotel is wonderfully located and was only about 20 minutes walk to the...

I have been disappointed with my stay at this hotel! When we arrived the receptionnist told us we would not have free breakfast but once in the room I double checked the confirmation slip from the website I booked this hotel and it was written free breakfast, so I went to see her again and quite rudely she told me...

We've stayed in this hotel for 4 days with a group of friends, so we took four rooms, and they were all very neat, tidy and cleaned every morning in a very efficient way. The hotel is very near to a metro station, and located in a road full of shops and restaurants. The wi-fi was very useful and worked...

Staying in Neubau

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins.
