Easy to get to from the airport, we took the airport bus to the Westbanhauf and the hotel is a short quick walk from the station. Easy to get to the main sights by walking or using the U3 or a tram. We had bought the Vienna 48 hour pass which we did not use as the hotel gave us...

Stayed here in november2016 for a week; It is a tiny and nice hotel with a very good buffet breakfast (better than what was expected). Great location and neighborhood with the excellant access to public transport (accompined with free public transport card offered by hotel) is one of the strongest points of the hotel. You can enjoy shopping, dinning, and...

The location is great. Very large and excellent breakfast selection on a par with 5 star hotels. Really nice room - simple, clean, adequate size, quiet. The transportation pass is a wonderful addition. The only low point is that the free wifi is really substandard but you have an upgrade option for 8 EUR per day. Otherwise, really pleasant stay.

Neighbourhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
