Everything is going wrong with this hotel. 1. Across the street are druggies walking around. Not the best neighbourhood. 2. Arrived and they said we would get an upgrade. It turns out to be half the size I would normally get at the Marriott Courtyard and really not luxurious at all. 3. A/C has 3 settings. Hot/Hotter/Hottest. Not fun when...

We stayed 3 nights at the end of a 2 week tour of Europe. I got a great deal on Expedia for under $100/night, really one of the best deals I ever got online. This is a first class (4 star) hotel with high quality rooms. We had a Superior room on the 6th floor, overlooking the boulevard below which...

Our room had a view of dorms from another building, so it was noisy on friday nigth, also had to keep shades close constantly for privacy. Not only our room was hot cause of the non-working air but the hotel itself (corridors, lobby, elevator) was so hot too! i guess they dont run central air or anything. Shower was a mess...

Got a great deal on this hotel through Expedia, and was happy it was so close to the train station where we were arriving. Unfortunately, the area around the train station isn't the best. There are numerous strip clubs and lots of questionable people hanging about. There are also no restaurants to eat at, aside from the fast food type...

we enjoyed our 5 night stay. The only complaint is that the room got stuffy and the air conditioning did not overcome this. The staff were all helpful. The location was fine.

We stayed here 3 nights and were very delighted with out choice. The hotel is perfectly located if you consider using public transport, making daily trip to another city (like Bratislava). If you like long walks, you can reach all attractions by walking, too. The only negative point of location is the surroundings, which is actually almost same anywhere located...

We stayed three nights at the Arcotel Wimberger in Vienna. The location of the hotel is ideal for the closure to the WestBanhof, one Tram terminal and an underground public train system. Unfortunately the nudy bars in front of the Hotel are the only negative in my opinion. The rooms were very clean with lots of space for your clothes...

We stayed for three nights at the Arcotel Wimberger at Easter time and were very satisfied. The strengths of this hotel for us were: location and access to metro, direct line to Stevensplatz, comfort of room, very helpful staff and quality of breakfast. Given the busyness of Vienna at this time of year the ease with which we were able...

Stayed here for one night. Big hotel, quite near Westbahnhof (Streetcars stop almost in front of the hotel).. Well maintained room on a quiet " inside Hof" AC worked properly. Big, big restaurant with hughe breakfast buffet. Hotel is targeted on groups and therefor hundreds of people at the breakfast. Decent hotel for a stay in Vienna; don't expect something...

Staying in Neubau

Neighbourhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
