Nice hotel with spacious rooms, and perfect location. Had a good stay here, perfect for a long weekend in Vienna. Very well located, city center easily reachable by foot. Friendly staff, and nice addition we found is the swimming pool.
We gave our car to staff for valet parking it came back covered in dog hair and mud inside and out. Someone had clearly used our car. Hotel disclaimed responsibility as they use an outside parking station. They did try to help us vacuum hair...More

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

The easiest, quickest, and cheapest way to get to the Marriott from the Airport is to buy a ticket for S7 line from the Airport to Wien Mitte station for €1.80. Do NOT confuse S7 metro line with the CAT (airport express), which cost €16: CAT is not worth it as it takes only 7-10 min longer to make exactly the same journey in the S7 train. When you arrive at Wien Mitte, you just walk - the hotel is about 5-10 min walk (maximum) from the station. The journey on the metro is about 20-25 min only, so your overall travel time, including walking from the station to the hotel, will be about 30-35 min. If you take the airport express (CAT), you'll arrive 5 min earlier but you should mind that both the metro and the CAT trains leave the airport with 30 min intervals and within 5 min of each other.
Travelling by car/taxi doesn't make any sense as it takes longer and cost much more than trains. I hope it helps.
