- hotel location is perfect for a visit of the Centre of Vienna (everything easily and quickly reachable by foot - Rooms are spacious and equipped as for the standard of this hotel. Sleep quality is good, no noise from neighbour rooms or from the outside (we were in a room on 6th floor on the rear side) - Reception... More

We had a nice stay at the hotel-friendly and helpful staff and quite comfortable rooms. The hotel is centrally located and close to most of the main attractions of the city. It is exceptional with a beautiful view and perfect for enjoying Vienna. The only drawback is paid wifi- which the hotel should provide free. Otherwise, a beautifully located hotel... More

First I must say the the Concierge Miriam is the best Concierge I have ever met. She was most accommodating and helped me get my iPad that I left back in Düsseldorf. I don't think I could have gotten it back without her help. The hotel was clean and convenient. The entire staff was so nice. I didn't pass anyone... More

We stayed there for 6 nights for vacation at the end of November. The staff are very polite and responsive, rooms are large and comfortable (we stayed in a king size room). food was good and plenty. The fitness center (pool and gym) are open 24/7 and are very nice with modern equipment. Location is good on the verge of... More

I had the opportunity to stay at the Vienna Marriott during a work event and brought my family with me while I was working. Not only is the location perfect for walking to all the venues but the service was above and beyond. I work in a service industry so am pretty sensitive to the service levels I received. Everyone... We had a short stay of 4 nights at The Marriott in Vienna and it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is centrally located, about 10min walk off Vienna Opera House. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is attentive. It was a good stay overall. The property itself is satisfactory, nothing posh but very convenient. I highly recommend... More

Beware: WiFi costs money in this hotel. In 2016 this is outrageous. Location: Excellent, on the Ring and close to the Stubentor underground station The hotel was the largest I have ever stayed in, it had numerous shops, cafés, bars etc. Service: Some of the people here were utterly useless, not what I would expect. They were able to order... More

I stayed here with my partner for 3 nights last month! Having never stayed in a Marriott before I didn't really know what to expect.. I have to say this hotel really did exceed my expectations! In between the park and the center of the city were it all happens, this hotel has a perfect location. Most of the rooms are refurbished, so when you book, maybe best to ask a refurbished room, they are great. Very friendly service, the 2 best restaurants with 2 michelin stars are around the corner!

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
